Lake Pines RV Park and Campground, Columbus, Georgia

Date of Stay: January, 2015 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Campground was clean and staff was very friendly. Had gravel site with concrete patio. Site was level and plenty wide. Only problem was noise, didn't bother us but probably would some people. Trains run by sometimes 2 times a day with a crossing right at the campground. Fort Benning was really close and on Friday night they had artillery practice until 11PM. We will be going back as we have relatives in the area. We camped at Lake Pines RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Valdosta Oaks RV Park, Valdosta, Georgia

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed just one night as a stopover point. Sites are not level, sewer hookups were really far away from our connections. Road noise was really loud. This campground has no facilities for shower or restrooms also does not have any trash receptacles, you are directed to carry trash to a nearby motel. We will never stay there again. We camped at Valdosta Oaks RV Park in a Motorhome.

Quail Run RV Resort, Wesley Chapel, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Park was really clean and well kept. Plenty of shady sites and some sat-friendly sites. All employees was friendly and helpful. Pool was not available but they are building a new one. Some sites are near the interstate but only had a little noise on our site, #32. I would for sure stay here again. We camped at Quail Run RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We spent overnight here and were very satisfied. Campground was clean, sites are large and long enough that we didn't have to unhook the toad. Host was friendly and escorted us to the site. Wi-Fi worked really good. We camped at Casey Jones RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort, Hill City, South Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very pleasant, clean, quiet, with nice wide and level gravel sites. The staff was very helpful and nice. Our complaints are that the advertised Wi-Fi is spotty at best and we was only able to log on a couple of times. Verizon signal was also spotty and sometimes we could not get on. Advertized cable TV is only available in certain areas. Our biggest complaint would be that the water is undrinkable. An inch of water in the sink and you couldn't see the drain. We would find another spot if returning to the area. We camped at Rafter J Bar Ranch Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Great overnight stop. Clean, well maintained, plenty of space to walk the dog, staff very friendly. Staff leads you to the site and helps you get connected. Little noisy due to interstate but didn't bother us. Wi-fi worked great, lots of TV stations on cable. We camped at Travelers Campground in a Motorhome.

This was a good overnight campground. Don't think I would recommend for more than a few nights. Workers was very friendly, CG was clean though dusty. Interstate was very close but not too noisy. Easy to get in and out. We camped at Salina KOA in a Motorhome.

Fort Myers Beach RV Resort, Fort Myers, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park and friendly people. Sites are very small but manageable as long as you don't mind neighbors as all sites are face to face. Wi-Fi is available through a private company on a pay by time basis. Dog friendly yes but not much space for walking. Campground was clean and well maintained. I would stay here again. We camped at Fort Myers Beach RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Jolly Roger Travel Park, Marathon, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2008 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Nice park, friendly staff, friendly people in the park. No permanent mobile homes. We had a water view and it was a large site. Most sites have plenty of room. Nice quiet area, dog friendly, good roads, easy in and out. Would definitely stay here again. Only drawbacks would be the sandspurs and the Wi-Fi didn't work at all sites. It worked for a while then quit. They didn't get it fixed while we were there but you could go to a site closer to the office and it would work. We camped at Jolly Roger Travel Park in a Motorhome.

Travelers Campground, Alachua, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2008 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great park for an overnight. Not sure about long term. Park personnel was very nice and helpful. Parking was easy as all over nighters park in a line, easy to get out in the morning. Lots of space to walk the dogs and not a lot of noise. I think the price was a little over the top for the spaces provided. I could sign in on their Wi-Fi but couldn't get on line, may have been me though. We camped at Travelers Campground in a Motorhome.
