Cedar Breaks RV (formerly Country Aire RV Park), Cedar City, Utah

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

Daily rate times 30 = monthly rate as we stayed for a whole month. In all that time the power was consistently in the green and the wi-fi was as strong and fast as if we were on cable. Our hostess was exceptionally friendly and helpful, a regular chamber of commerce rep for the whole area. The sites are level gravel with concrete patios and nice picnic tables, the shade trees were in blossom despite 3 snow showers. And "everything's up to date in Cedar City" in re: shopping and restaurants. We'd definitely stay here again, perhaps a little later in the year, weather-wise. We camped at Cedar Breaks RV (formerly Country Aire RV Park) in a Motorhome.

Valley View RV Park, Ely, Nevada

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Easy in-and-out for an overnight stay, our 3rd time here. Friendly staff. The counter-clockwise entry loop past the office would have been confusing if we hadn't been here before. We purposely plan a stop here every time we pass through. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Indian Creek Campground, Deer Lodge, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Rate cited is based on weekly rate; we stayed 2 weeks. Wide, level sites, good power all the time, good Wi-Fi most of the time. Clean, modern laundry. Next to the interstate and truck stop but no noise from either. Convenient base camp for exploring the area, museums, etc. Also easy in/out for overnight. This was our second time here and we'd stay here again. We camped at Indian Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Village of Trees RV Resort, Declo, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

Rate cited is based on monthly rate. Beautiful island of shade trees next to the river in the middle of vast farms fields. Friendly, personable staff. Convenient to shopping in Burley. We stayed here for a month, and would again, but next time we'll know to protect against the ground-insect infestation. Good power and Wi-Fi all the time. We camped at Village of Trees RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground), Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly, innovative staff (gave us mints for our pillows). Flat, level sites, easy in/out for overnight. Rate was for electric only so we didn't have to pay for services we wouldn't use - nice. The TengoInternet was free, but confusing, and our MiFi came up in 4G mode with no hassle, so we used that instead. We would stay here again next time through. We camped at Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground) in a Motorhome.

Easy in/out, flat level sites, good power. We used our Verizon MiFi so can't comment on park's Wi-Fi. Easy in/out and convenient for overnight. Nothing really memorable, but we would stay here again. We camped at Highline Trail RV Park in a Motorhome.

Southside RV Park, Dillon, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff, wide level sites, good power and Wi-Fi. Great base camp for visiting the "ghost" towns. Close to the interstate but no noise. Close to the town's amenities but felt isolated beside the duck-filled creek. We stayed 5 nights and would definitely stay here again. We camped at Southside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Birdland Bay RV Resort, Thompson Falls, Montana

Rate cited is based on monthly rate. Excellent power. Usefulness of Wi-Fi dependent on closeness to office but cellular service was OK. Beautiful, park-like wooded setting on lake/stream between mountains with deer wandering through. Friendly/helpful staff and owners. Nice family restaurant in town. We camped at Birdland Bay RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Shady Creek RV Park, Cedaredge, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2014 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Rate cited is based on monthly rate. We have stayed here many times before and will again many times more. The location is perfect for access to Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre Plateau, Montrose, Ouray, etc., and the owners are like frosting on the cake -- beyond friendly and accommodating, they make you feel like family. The sites are all shaded, mostly level and wide. Power and Wi-Fi are excellent. Water is the purest we've ever seen, but pressure is high and requires a reducer. We camped at Shady Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Perfectly described by its name. Just ¾ of a mile off the highway, it felt remote, and was peaceful and quiet. Nice, clean laundry, friendly & helpful staff. No WiFi but Verizon MiFi connected at 4G. We camped at Over-Niter RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pine Mountain RV Resort, Pine Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

A multi-level park, as gorgeous as you'd expect for the location. More expensive than expected because they were hosting an antique car show with live entertainment we didn't know (or care) about. A beautiful park, with perfectly level sites, modern hookups, a gazillion cable channels, and free Wi-Fi. We camped at Pine Mountain RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Falling Waters Campsite, Falling Waters, West Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Conveniently located for an overnight stop. The pull-through sites stacked up behind each other, though, so getting there first would be important if you wanted to leave early. The attendant was busy with yard work and left us feeling a little less than welcome, like we were imposing. We had stayed here several years ago, when the atmosphere was friendly and inviting: don't know if we would again. We camped at Falling Waters Campsite in a Motorhome.

Pensacola RV Park, Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2013 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Rate based on monthly as we stayed here 10 weeks. Very friendly, helpful staff. Beautiful park very conveniently located to many restaurants, shopping, and attractions. (The Naval Air Museum takes more than one day to do.) A little more expensive than we're used to but power was included in the rate. Large level sites, modern utilities, modern laundry was clean and air conditioned, entire park was well-maintained and beautified (flowers) and many sites were shaded. We camped at Pensacola RV Park in a Motorhome.
