Mountain Range RV Park (Winters - Monthly Only), Columbus, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Internet did not work the entire time we stayed there. Would have given it a 1, but they did have sewer. The picnic table was broke, I mentioned it to the manager, he said he would look at it. Maybe he looked at it, but it was not fixed or replaced. Did I mention the rattlesnakes and power outages. We had to run our generator, even though it was against the rules. Have you ever stayed in a RV with no air when temperatures were in the 100's. We camped at Mountain Range RV Park (Winters - Monthly Only) in a Motorhome.

Davis Bayou Campground, Ocean Springs, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

sites are not very big, and we find that most government campsites are not level enough for RV and they do not trim low hanging branches, that can cause damage. Not much shade. We had an electrical problem, the campground host got someone to replace the box within the hour. We were able to get cell service and DirecTV. For the price, this was a nice place to stay. We camped at Davis Bayou Campground in a Motorhome.

Hernando Point - COE, Hernando, Mississippi

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This is our second visit to the park, and will stay again. Close to Memphis. Our site was paved, and the views were beautiful. Wish we would have booked more days here. We used our golden age pass, so price was great. One of the best campgrounds in the nation, would be perfect if it had sewer. We camped at Hernando Point - COE in a Motorhome.

Big Lagoon State Park, Pensacola, Florida

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

I am handicapped, and this facility is not handicapped friendly. The restrooms are on stilts, with no ramp access, and very overgrown. The sites are not paved, with a lot of standing water. The stalls are small, and difficult for a larger RV. I have stayed in numerous Florida State campgrounds, and have been very pleased with them, however, this campground was more than disappointing. We camped at Big Lagoon State Park in a Motorhome.

Farnum Creek COE, Junction City, Kansas

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Nice views, but service was bad. We are handicapped and were told we couldn't have a handicapped site, because it was taken. The folks staying in the handicapped stall were not handicapped. It appears that every rule for COE parks are violated. Folks freely empty their holding tanks, dogs are not leashed, campers were parked and left vacant during the week, with occupants coming in for week-ends, trailers with boats and cars parked on the grass. No one manning the booths during the day, so it is hard to check in. We do like the park, but the contract people are not competent. The volunteers were not helpful. We camped at Farnum Creek COE in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

On Milford Lake, need to go to Junction city for supplies. No cell service, or Direct TV, Week-ends fill up fast, so book early. During the week, the campgrounds are pretty vacant.

Maumelle COE, Little Rock, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

Cannot give a rating of 10, because they do not have sewer hook-ups at the site. We had a beautiful view of the river, campsite was spacious, we were able to get cell service and direct TV. We would stay there again. We camped at Maumelle COE in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Little Rock close by, also State Park is close. The state and Federal parks in Arkansas do not charge a day use fee, which is nice if you like to visit parks in the area.
