Deer Creek State Park, Mt Sterling, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2005 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

The campground is very shady and quiet. We enjoyed swimming at the Lodge indoor and outdoor pool. The beach is nice but full of goose droppings. Putt putt was fun. The store had quite a selection of goodies. The gift shop and restaurant at the Lodge were wonderful. They have quite a few campsites that you could get together for family/friends. We camped at Deer Creek State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cowan Lake State Park, Wilmington, Ohio

Date of Stay: April, 2005 - $23.00

This campground was a nightmare. The campground HOST'S are RUDE! RUDE! If you are looking for a great family place to relax and enjoy yourself this is not the place. I suggest that the hosts retire and soon. They should be in a retirement community not a state park. I have vowed that I would NEVER return to this park and would do what ever it takes to get the word out about the worst camping exerience I have ever had in the 30 plus years that I have been camping. PLEASE DO NOT VISIT THIS PARK IF YOU HAVE CHILDREN We camped at Cowan Lake State Park in a Tent Trailer.

Navarre Beach Campground, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2005 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This park was wonderful. We stayed for 14 nights over spring break 2005. It was close to everything. We visited the Naval Avaiation Museum in Pensacola. Most of all we just relaxed and enjoyed the great planned activities that the campground had to offer. They had everything from an Easter party for the kids to pancake breakfast, to cards, trips to a local pizza place etc. We can't wait to go back next year. We camped at Navarre Beach Campground in a Tent Trailer.
