Tips for other Campers:

We have a rear connection for our power cord so had to pull to the front of the spot in order to reach the plug in, thus we had to disconnect the tow vehicle to park behind the 5th wheel. That was no oproblem.

Ponderosa Falls RV Resort , Cheney, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We were given two lists for TV channels. One on the flyer for the campsite and one on a sheet in the flyer. Neither one was correct for the channels, and some channels didn't come in at all. The people were friendly, the site level on gravel. We stayed here before with free wifi, but now they charge $1.00 for the wifi. We didn't take it because it wasn't good when we had it before. We camped at Ponderosa Falls RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Miles City KOA, Miles City, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Neat park, Exceptionally friendly staff from the managers through all the employees. Fast check in, and everyone treated us as valued customers. This is the 4th time we stayed here in a month. Each time the employees were always friendly, knowledgeable, and outstanding!! The park has been improved so much since these people took over and they seem to be working on it all the time. On one of our stays, one of the employees was cleaning our picnic table. That is a first in 14 years of traveling. We always feel welcome. Our spot was level with gravel and some grass in between. There was no litter in or around the park. The cable is outstanding with many channels. We definately will stay here again. With the mangers and employees all so great, it makes a persons stay so comfortable. We haven't found anything wrong in 4 stays and will definately stay here again. We camped at Miles City KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

There is a park within walking distance from the park with swimming area. The downtown area is interesting with many old homes that are in excellent condition. Small and friendly City.

Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $81.00
Overall Rating:

Very much overpriced. The restrooms and showers are clean and individual ones where you have the sink, toilet and shower in one private room. The sites are very close together. There wasn't room for our chairs beside our door after another rig pulled in. Not room to put out the awning, and you could barely walk between the two rigs. The sites were gravel and not level. There was a picnic table, There were two picnic tables at the neighbor site, but not room to move it to our site. The cable TV went out for a few hours. The internet was OK when we first got here, but then didn't work at all, probably because the two neighbor trailers were so extremely close to ours. We will never stay here again. We camped at Yellowstone River RV Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground, Kalispell, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff. Site was not quite level and very narrow, with just enough room to park our pickup across the front. Roads were narrow and tight to maneuver. The park was quiet with no road noise. It wasn't far to downtown Kalispell. We have stayed here twice and would stay again, for the convenience and price. We camped at Rocky Mountain Hi RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Butte KOA, Butte, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2018 - $69.00
Overall Rating:

When we made our reservations the girl appeared new or confused. She kept asking me the same questions, and it took her a long time to book a site for one night. When we checked in there were three working the desk and they took about 15 minutes before they figured out if our site was available. We were given what they call a "deluxe" site which had a patio and grill and table, and the site was small and not level. We couldn't find anything deluxe about it. It seems for what we got it was way overpriced. We won't stay here again. We camped at Butte KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

BLM-Pilot Knob Camping Area, Winterhaven, California

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Check in was fast and friendly. There weren't many RV's in the park so had no problem getting a spot we wanted. Restrooms/Showers are clean with two showers and two sinks. There is no cable and when I asked about WIFI I was told there was a hot spot in the office, but they didn't know the password two different days when I asked so I don't know if it was good or not. They are fixing up a few things around the park and painting the shower building outside. The laundry has 4 washers and 4 dryers. There is no cart to take clothes from washers to dryers. The roads are dirt and dusty. The sites are a bit of gravel and they say they are planning to put more gravel on the sites. There is a cement patio at the sites. Most sites are open with no trees, but a few have small trees. There are trains within hearing distance running several times a night and we experienced helicopter traffic during the day periodically and one late night a couple times. The highway traffic is steady but not too loud. We camped at BLM-Pilot Knob Camping Area in a Fifth Wheel.

Ridgeview RV Resort, Bullhead City, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Gravel sites, cement patio, WIFI is TERRIBLE. Don't depend on it. We had a tower on our site but no service. Tengonet says the park doesn't want to pay for more service. The park says Tengonet is no good. We have been in other parks with Tengonet and got excellent service, but never here.

The park was recently sold so is no longer a Sunrise park. It was sold to CRA. We still got the Sunrise benefits. The check in was friendly. The cable is OK. Gives a few channels. The sewer drains on lots of the sites are approx. 10-12" above the ground so to drain your sewer you have to keep lifting up the drain hose in order to have it drain. There doesn't seem any good reason for them to be so high. The new owners are doing a few things to make the park more attractive, but have yet to change the showers in the club house to make them "private." The showers and restrooms could use some better attention. We camped at Ridgeview RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA, Petaluma, California

Date of Stay: November, 2017 - $66.00
Overall Rating:

Very poorly maintained. Price too high for what is offered this time of year. RV spot gravel and dirt and not level. Had to block up on two blocks to level. The mens restroom had a towel to wipe feet on before entering. Didn't use the women's restroom. The store had a can of Campbell's soup for $2.59. (way over priced) The RV spaces were quite tight. The WIFI and Cable were good. We saw a "petting zoo" and it appeared to have a young horse or pony there. It didn't look like there was much for the horse or anyone else to do. Would not stay here again, because of the price and the maintenance. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Polson / Flathead Lake KOA, Polson, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

The staff was friendly. The pads are gravel and not quite level. We could only get water and electric because they were booked full. We felt the price was a bit high for not having a full hook up. Other than that, it is one of the nicest KOA's we have been to. The facilites were clean and neat. We stayed one night when passing through the area. We camped at Polson / Flathead Lake KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
