High Adventure River Tours RV Park, Hagerman, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

If you like elbow room, private grassy area, level sites, quiet and a location close to Thousand Springs State parks, this is the place for you. It is right off I84 but very quiet and only 30 miles from Twin Falls BUT all the state park sites are very close! The park does not have amenities and a little bare bones but the staff is friendly and accommodating and the sites are nice! Price is terrific!
We camped here in a 36' MH and would definitely return. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Motorhome.

A perfect stop right off I84! Large, level sites, nice grass areas, elbow room, good value, full hookups, satellite friendly and an amazing park with walking trails right along the Snake River! Great for people with dogs and like to walk! Lovely views are a nice surprise for an overnighter type park. We stayed here in a 36ft MH and would definitely come back. We camped at Heyburn Riverside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camping with roomy, level spots with excellent views of the water! Nice grassy area in each spot, fire pit and table. Nice large camping areas, full hookups too! Camp hosts and park staff were great and even helped us to jump start our tow car.
Fantastic and large fenced pet area. Lots of wildlife too!

Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful! Beautifully maintained park. Friendly and accommodating staff. Sites are roomy and lush with trees. Most sites are privately owned and have extra amenities like tables and chairs. Excellent location to beaches, restaurants and nightlife. We stayed here on our way to Florida and again on the way back home. We would stay here anytime. Off season was nice and I am betting the prime season is quite a bit more crowded and lively. We camped at Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2009 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

If you want direct ocean parking this is the place for you. Sites are a little tight but in most spots have is a green space in front of your camper to sit, etc. One tip, if you get a back in site, you can pull in forward and run the water, electric and cable under your rig thus enjoying the ocean view. This also allows for your own outdoor space rather than sharing with another group. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. There is not a ton to do locally but St. Augustine is only 30 minutes up AIA. We camped at Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Oak Plantation Campground, Charleston, South Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Nice CG but some sites are much better than others. We were fortunate to get a spacious, very green grass, level site but others are very crowded with no shade. The sewers can be a bit close to your picnic table in some sites. Staff was friendly and generally helpful. Near a busy commercial road but surprisingly quiet. Pretty long drive to Charleston and surrounding areas. We camped at Oak Plantation Campground in a Motorhome.

Outdoor Resorts Virginia Beach, Virginia Beach, Virginia

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Wonderful park! Waterfront sites galore and just a quick walk to the beach. Front office was very helpful and pleasant. Clean, level and well maintained. A bit far away from the "strip" of VA beach but did not miss it when compared to the local beaches close by. We camped at Outdoor Resorts Virginia Beach in a Motorhome.
