Lighthouse RV Resort, Melissa, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Didn't use restrooms or other facilities and $40.00 to park trailer? Muddy spot and we departed the next AM.

I think the man and woman that checked us in were the owners and they were very friendly and helpful. My biggest complaint is the $40.00 cost to park in the mud and the construction that made it a bit awkward to find the campground. We won't be back. We camped at Lighthouse RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Wells Fargo RV Park, Tombstone, Arizona

Date of Stay: December, 2014 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We came to visit the historical town of Tombstone and wish we had stayed at a park farther away. We are literally 3 ft from other campers, and if we wanted to put up an awning, it's wishful thinking-we can't because of the close proximity of the RV next to us. All the sites have two strips of concrete for the wheels (which marks the area to park on) so there is no "cheating" if one wants to move over a foot or so for more living space. Older RV's are parked here and there, but that doesn't bother us that much. But even the interior roads are gravel and dust. There is no reasonable place to park a tow vehicle, I parked where the lady that checked us in told us but the maintenance man told us to park even closer. Now I can't open the driver's door to even halfway without striking the trailer with the vehicle door-if I were a large person, I'd have to turn the truck around facing the other way and let the wife out first. I was planning to cook outside but there obviously isn't a picnic table due to over utilization of space to pack more RV's. We are only staying here over night and can't wait to leave in the morning and can only hope no one hits our pickup. Do not stay here! Go elsewhere-if you must visit Tombstone park your RV in a park in Benson and drive the miles to Tombstone and return to your RV. This RV park is not recommended by any stretch of the imagination. We camped at Wells Fargo RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
