Buckhorn Lake Resort, Kerrville, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

It is great for one night or longer. A clean and attractive easy access RV resort, with many amenities like on site washes, computer repair, RV repair, on site propane delivery, and etc. The staff was very congenial. It is big rig friendly with easy access to I-10. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Buckhorn Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Lakeside RV Park, Livingston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

There is easy access off of I-10. The staff is friendly. The park is quiet and very clean with nice wide concrete road and pads and nice all-in-one electric and water pedestal. It is great for big rigs; we were in a 45' motorhome, towing, and there was plenty of space. We were escorted to our site. The lake has a nice walking path around it and is a great place to walk your pets. There are several pet stations with bags if you need them. We would definitely stay here again. We camped for one night. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Motorhome.

Eagles Landing RV Park, Holt, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

I gave this a high rating because it is easy off I-10, easy to get into, we had an easy pull through, we didn't have to maneuver around anything and check-in took all of 5 minutes. It has a nice dog walk. The camp host was very accommodating. There is minimal sand. We were looking for some place for one night that we could get into without any problems or sitting on top of our neighbor. Our satellite worked fine as did our computer broad band cards. I will definitely put this on our list for overnight stops. We camped at Eagles Landing RV Park in a Motorhome.

Recreation Plantation RV Resort (55+ park), Lady Lake, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

It is not easy to maneuver in and out of for big rigs, lots of sand, not much grass. There is lots of traffic in the park, it took a bit of work to back into our site because of the traffic. We were parked under a tree so our satellite did not work. The sewer connection was so deep we could not get our sewer end to work. It is an all back in park and our 45' Motorhome and toad would not fit without parking side by side. Don't think that we would stay here again. We camped at Recreation Plantation RV Resort (55+ park) in a Motorhome.
