Route 66 RV Park, Sapulpa, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Park is good for a quick stop in and rest. A lot of full time RVs. It is located right off of the turnpike, there is a sewer plant nearby. Therefore a lot of road noise and heavy sewer smell. The restrooms and showers were filthy. The hookups are reliable, 30amp electric, sewer and water. Park is in dire need of road work and overall maintenance, it is not cared for. Manager was difficult to reach to pay the lot dues. It is a trashy little park. We camped at Route 66 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cedar Shore Resort, Oacoma, South Dakota

Date of Stay: May, 2009 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Water pressure was great; electric was fine. We were in site 23 which had nice shade and was fairly level. The park is very nicely kept, and they are expanding it. There are beautiful hills surrounding it along with the view of the river. We saw wild turkey and deer. We explored the hills and took photographs from the tops of them which was the most beautiful site I have seen yet. There was great fishing. The traffic was a bit noisy for as far away from everything it is, but during the evening it was very quiet. I would have given it a 10, but the price was a bit high for what we are used to paying. But, it is worth it. We camped at Cedar Shore Resort in a Motorhome.

Scenic Park Campground, South Sioux City, Nebraska

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very nice; water pressure was fine, electric was great, staff was friendly. It would have been easier to get to if there had not been construction, but the detour worked out. There were lots of tall poplar trees that did not injure our motorhome. The sites were close to one another but situated nicely and weren't a tight fit. There were nice, even slabs. This is a very clean park with tent camping mixed in. Iowa State University has a couple of green projects they are working on, and the office is a hay bale home, very cool. Nice little playground for the kids and priced perfectly for a family. They are adding more sites. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Scenic Park Campground in a Motorhome.

Shadylake Campground, Findlay, Ohio

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very well kept. They had a lot of activities for the kids around the holiday. A fishing pond, nice playground area, campsites are spaced out nicely. We had a very pleasant stay here. The only drawback was that our phone did not work very well and that we could not stay longer. Water pressure was great park owners were extremely friendly as well as the other campers. It is a very family friendly park. We camped at Shadylake Campground in a Motorhome.

Keystone Lake State Park, Sand Springs, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

This place is very quiet, beautiful and scenic. It is located right off Hwy 5; not difficult to get in and out of. There is a playground for the kids. They have a country store on site, and serious grocery shopping and fuel is within 5 miles. It is very well maintained. Boat rental is available within walking distance, and a fishing dam is within a mile. The only drawback for us was no laundry facility. We stayed the maximum 14 days. We camped at Keystone Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Spring Creek Village RV Park, Plano, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2008 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We do not recommend this park. There were several incidences of gunshots heard in close proximity of our motorhome. The park is overpriced and not very well kept by the park owner. The sewers back up and the park shut off the water for hours at a time both on a regular basis. We watched residents dig through the dumpsters constantly and they would approach us for help with money, food and transportation. The noise level from the highway is constant and loud. We also found the park manager to be extremely rude and condescending to boot. We will not stay here again. We camped at Spring Creek Village RV Park in a Motorhome.
