Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging, Groveland, California

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Great park for families. Hayrides weekend evenings, petting zoo, pool. Spots are not very private but the evenings have been quiet. My only complaint is there are campfires at almost every campsite and as the campsites are so close to each other, smoke is a real issue for myself with asthma. We ended up shutting all the windows every evening and turning on the a/c. This would probably not be a big issue with most people but it ended up a problem for me. The only other big minus would be a whole lot of dust clouds anytime someone drove by our bus. This is a great park for young families, not for people with breathing issues. P.S. There is no mobile phone reception for most carriers, including AT&T. No phones! We camped at Yosemite Pines RV Resort & Family Lodging in a Motorhome.

Laughlin / Avi Casino KOA, Laughlin, Nevada

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 6 nights. We had a pull-through site. The park was fine, not much shade but we are after all in the desert. The rate was excellent and we got an additional day free. Our only complaint was that the site we were given had a broken cable connection that was not fixed for our entire stay. The park was very quiet at night and we did not experience the problems that the earlier poster referred to. We would stay again. It was very inexpensive and very clean, staff was very nice, and the adjoining casino was a lot of fun. We camped at Laughlin / Avi Casino KOA in a Motorhome.
