Haggard's RV Campground, Pueblo West, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great little RV Park, it's very clean and well laid out. The sites are nice size and not right on top of each other. The one thing I like is there are not long term residences here like you see in so many parks today. The owners are friendly and very helpful. Will put this one on my list of places to stay when going Colorado. We camped at Haggard's RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

St. Louis West / Historic Route 66 KOA, Eureka, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This park is way over priced, the rates are higher on weekends. They are not that full this time of year. The sites are close together and small. It's impossible to get a good night sleep because of the road noise and the trains that seems to run all night. We camped at St. Louis West / Historic Route 66 KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Perryville Jellystone Park (formerly Perryville Campground), Perryville, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are close together, and many have trees that make it hard to get in or out of. Before driving back to your site you need to take a walk to make sure you can get in and out; it will save you the time of having to go back up to the office to change sites. When we ran the water it came out brown/black each time it was turned on and there was almost no pressure. We camped at Perryville Jellystone Park (formerly Perryville Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Branson Treehouse Adventures (formerly Acorn Acres RV Park & Villas), Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This has to be one of the better parks in the Branson area. The only bad thing about the parks is turning in, it's on a hill and on coming traffic is had to see. We camped at Branson Treehouse Adventures (formerly Acorn Acres RV Park & Villas) in a Fifth Wheel.

Pea Patch RV Park, Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in down town Branson. To get into it you have to turn in next to a restaurant. From the office we had to pull down hill and turn up hill, our rear jacks were dragging the ground. The sites are separate with large land scape timber. With our slides out we had about two inches on each side. If you opened your window you could ask the people nest to you to pass the salt. We camped at Pea Patch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Andrews Landing Resort & RV Park (Closed), Branson, Missouri

Date of Stay: October, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is a older park, that is behind another business and in front of a motel. From the road the park slopes down hill. To back into many of the spaces you have to pull down hill and back up hill to get into to the space. We camped at Andrews Landing Resort & RV Park (Closed) in a Fifth Wheel.

Texas RV Park of Big Spring, Big Spring, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This is a old park that is well maintained. The office was not open when we arrived, but one of the camp hosts came up and helped us. They have a small store which offers quite a bit. They offer pancakes for breakfast for over night guests. We would stay there again if we pass thru the area. We camped at Texas RV Park of Big Spring in a Fifth Wheel.

Trade Winds RV Resort (55+ park), Mission, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2008 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This park has gone down over the last year. The Wi-Fi works part of the time. The pool has been closed for over a month now; the parts are supposed to be on order. The phone that is listed on their web site for making free calls has also been removed. The park made the local newspaper ( The Monitor) after a couple where asked to leave for not agreeing with the manager. We camped at Trade Winds RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Longview Lake Campground, Lee's Summit, Missouri

Date of Stay: July, 2008 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is one of the best parks that I stay in over the year. There is lots of wildlife in the area. There is a small pond at the park and a lake close by. I would recommend it to any one looking for a place to camp in the Kansas City area. Too bad it is only open during the summer. We camped at Longview Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
