Miss Ellie's RV Park, Waskom, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Nice place to overnight. There was some road noise, and some train noise but it wasn't all that bad. Convenient on, off I-20. There seems to be quite a few permanent residents but that seems to be the norm nowadays. The place was clean. We would stay there again. We camped at Miss Ellie's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cabela's RV Park & Campground, Sidney, Nebraska

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This used to be a nice park, but not anymore. The cable and FHU worked fine, but there was no Wi-fi even after reporting it several times. There was no one running the park and it showed. Potholes in the road, security lights out, broken vending machines in the laundry. There is really no way to be sure you have a spot to park because the sign up outside is not always the same as the sheet that is being kept in the store. It's a shame. We camped at Cabela's RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Intermountain Motor Homes and RV Camp, Wendell, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

A nice little park with good Wi-Fi. Don't bother bringing big dogs here. Wi-Fi was good, and it was easy on & off the interstate. You can smell cows but I don't know where they are. No noise from the road. We would stay here again ! We camped at Intermountain Motor Homes and RV Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is very nice and only the TengoInternet keeps it from a 10. The owners are very nice and accommodating. This rate reflects Escapees discount. Will stay there again whenever in the area!! We camped at Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground) in a Fifth Wheel.

Bayside RV Park, Valdez, Alaska

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The reason for scoring a 5 is they are packing people in like sardines. Fishermen have their boats and gear, some folks have tents set up on their already small sites along with the RV. You have to be careful not to get pinned in when you go to leave. Rest rooms and showers are clean WiFi is OK. We camped at Bayside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stoney Creek RV Park, Seward, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park. Cable worked fine, 12 channels. Wi-Fi is as bad as I've seen it anywhere. Even sitting next to the office I could not get online. I asked if the Wi-Fi was working and they said yes. It is pretty quiet here gravel main area with grassy areas around it. Laundry is small for the number of sites here but works well. I would probably stay here again We camped at Stoney Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Cantwell RV Park, Cantwell, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This park is nice enough with the rest rooms and showers rating a 10. Place is run by 2 pairs of work campers, one pair is really nice. Large gravel in the parking lot, and you have to be careful to not park your wheels on the water line, which is plastic pipe running along the ground. Wi-fi is good with occasional hiccups, but generally good. You have to leave, then pull back in to dump, then go around the park again to leave! We would stay here again. We camped at Cantwell RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Catherine's Landing, Hot Springs, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

If you are coming here in a rainy period you want to be in the middle of the campground. The water runs downhill away from the office and puddles under and around your camper. The laundry room appears to be an afterthought. The Wi-Fi is strong and the restrooms are very nice. Showers are clean and large. The place is fairly new and is still nice. It is corporate owned so we'll have to see if they will put the money into it to keep it up! We camped at Catherine's Landing in a Fifth Wheel.

Sonny's RV Park, Lexington, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $20.00

An OK place to pull off the road for the night and was met when I pulled in and escorted to my site. The hookups all worked. The restroom needed cleaning but for the price it was adequate. We camped at Sonny's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Curt Gowdy State Park, Cheyenne, Wyoming

The park is in a very scenic setting, but the sites are not level and there are not many that have h2o and electric. Only 1 dump station, and not easily accessible for big rigs. Would not stay here again. We camped at Curt Gowdy State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
