Date of Stay:

This is an outstanding place to camp. Campsites are buffered by native trees and shrubs from neighboring sites. Most sites back up to a lagoons, maintaining a very natural look. The park has beautiful beaches a short drive away.

Date of Stay:

This was a roadside stop on I-75 near the Florida-Georgia state line. It is very convenient to the highway, but the campsites were quiet and uncrowded. There is an open feel to the campground due to it being wrapped around a fair-sized pond. The campground store had a good stock of various items. We would not stay here for the amenities, but it is a comfortable, convenient and inexpensive stop when en route to and from Florida. We plan to use it again.

Date of Stay:

This is a large park with crowded campsites. Due to mechanical problems with our RV, we arrived late, intending to tent camp. We explained this to the attendant upon check-in, but only found out when trying to set up the tent that it would not be possible for us to drive stakes into the hard coral ground surface. We ultimately spent the night on the seats of our substitute Suburban. We returned to check-in to request advise on local restaurants, but were only able to get information on the nearest gas station from the attendant. The bathhouses had inadequately sized showers, but were clean. We did not use any other facilities. The rate charged was $112 per night, too high to fit into the Nightly Rate blank. We do not plan to visit this site again.
