Colorado River Adventures / Yuma Lakes Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2006 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This is a memebership RV park, RPI & C2C. They have cut down all Palm Trees over 12' (cost to much in maintance), low water pressure, do not allow Autoformers, very dusty, lots of speeders, lack of rule enforement. Biggest rules breakers are the staff. We camped at Colorado River Adventures / Yuma Lakes Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pilot Knob RV Resort, Winterhaven, California

Date of Stay: December, 2005 - $7.00
Overall Rating:

This is a Western Horzion-Sunbelt-AOR, Coast to Coast, RPI & Passport America membership park. Access is easy, about 1/4 mile off I-8. It is about 5 miles from Algodones, Mexico. Little to no shade trees, but who cares in the winter months. level gravel sites, nice and wide plenty of room for our 36' triple slide 5th wheel, concrete patios, roads have what seems like 3' deep trenchs accross roads for speed bumps. Some of the best winter sunsets can be seen from here. We camped at Pilot Knob RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Pasco/Tri-Cities KOA, Pasco, Washington

Date of Stay: May, 2005 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Paved narrow roads make parking big rigs difficult, narrow sites, many back to back. Adjacent to Interstate and very very noisy. Park adds sur-charge of $3.43 per day; unfortunately, management says it is a state sur-charge and it isn't. We camped at Pasco/Tri-Cities KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Great RV Park, clean and well taken care of, interior roads are wide. Wonderful staff. We were given the choice of 2 differant sites, took the 1 overlooking the meadow/wetland, saw Elk grazing, geese nesting, and other wildlife. We camped at Elk Meadows RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
