Nice small park with very friendly owners. On the outskirts of town, yet close to all attractions. Hattiesburg has a nice zoo and a real "drive-in" theatre. The restrooms and showers were some of the nicest and cleanest that I have ever seen. Hook-ups are very new and most sites have 30 and 50 amp. All sites are pull through and have nice gravel pads, although some are pretty close together. Some sites have concrete patios and most sites have picnic tables. Individual sites did not have fire rings, but there were a couple of fire rings available around the park. There is a small pond for fishing. There is not a lot to occupy children in the park, but the park makes a nice base for exploring the Hattiesburg area.

Wonderful family campground. Park roads and pads appear to be recently re-paved. Most sites have picnic tables and grills. Hook-ups are correctly arranged on the drivers side of the pad and were in excellent condition. This campground is the nicest state park that I have visited. The park offers tennis, basketball, playgrounds, miniture golf (extra fee) and a very nice disc golf course. The park also offers a wading pool, wave pool and water slides (all at an extra fee), however they do not open until memorial day. Also, the park store and arcade do not open until memorial day. The park is directly across the road from the Gulf of Mexico and there are several miles of beach available for use.
