Spring Creek RV Park, Beaver, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This was just an overnight stop for us but we really thought it was nice being out in the country off Hwy 270. Back in sites on grass, & we very seldom use park bath facilities. The owners very friendly & helpful. Workers lived here as well. Just a nice Mom & Pop park on their own acreage. We'd stay here again. We camped at Spring Creek RV Park in a Motorhome.

Garden City RV Park, Garden City, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is behind a travel plaza @ intersection of US Hwy 400 & US 83. It is a good overnight park. There are ground asphalt sites for $5 less, but they were covered in weeds. We were not bothered by road noise or trucks in the plaza. Beware there a feed lot South of 400 that when wind blew right it could be smelled. We felt safe here. We camped at Garden City RV Park in a Motorhome.

John Martin Reservoir State Park, Hasty, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for 5 nites. Sites were electricity only(50 amp) & very ample in length for our 40'MH & tow. The sites were spaced away from each other for good privacy. Each site had a small shelter over the picnic tables providing shade & wind break . It was very windy at times. We were at the bottom side of the dam, but Lake Hasty was walking distance to fish or swim on the small beach. There was a convience store for bread, milk etc in Hasty a few miles away, but not for major groceries. We probably wouldn't stay again. We camped at John Martin Reservoir State Park in a Motorhome.

Childress City Fair Park, Childress, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Lovely park with lighted concrete sidewalk all around the small fishing lake. It was very quiet with gentle breeze all afternoon. There is a drop box for the $15 fee. Dumpster on road as you leave. No wifi, but good cell. No dump. We would defiantly stop here again. We camped at Childress City Fair Park in a Motorhome.

VFW Post 6873 RV Park, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly workers. We were literally parked along one end of the paved parking lot with 50 amps & water. We stayed 2 nites & there was a 3 nite max. The rate was $35/nite which was high to us, but we are not VFW MEMBERS anywhere. Members I'm sure must get a discount. It was very safe we felt, but there are cars coming & going until about 11:30 pm. We camped at VFW Post 6873 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park, Santa Rosa, New Mexico

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Just an overnite stop so we only used W&E site that was easily long enough for our 40' RV. Some grass, a few trees, skinny sites. The mosquitoes come out at dusk. Restaurant on site. Very friendly person at the office. We were gone most of the day/evening so it really was just a place to plug in for us. We would stay here again for an overnite stay. We camped at Santa Rosa Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Palo Duro RV Park, Canyon, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here due to the site rate of only $25 for a FHU pull thru & it had easy access to the canyon. It was easy off & on the interstate, but not noisy from it. There was lots of grass, asphalt roads with packed dirt and rock sites that were pretty much level. The entry road did have pot holes we had to dodge. Manager friendly & we were able to use our satellite. A few trees. We stayed here 2 nites and would recommend it to anyone going to the canyon. We camped at Palo Duro RV Park in a Motorhome.

Junction/North Llano River RV Park, Junction, Texas

Date of Stay: December, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We had an excellent site on an end with a brick patio with wood arbor. There is no water in the river right now, but it runs along one end of park. Site was level, clean, and easy to maneuver into with plenty room for tow. Spoke with the managers and they were very personable and welcoming. We will stay here again We camped at Junction/North Llano River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent park with very helpful and friendly staff. Escorted to site. Two levels of campground which we stayed on the upper with pull in back out motorhome sites with shade and pretty level for the hilly area. Upper level bathhouse is individual bathrooms making it very private & very clean. Nice walking trails & dog park. We would come back again if in the area because it is centrally located to many sightseeing spots. We camped at Quechee / Pine Valley KOA in a Motorhome.
