Arrowhead is a beautiful campground located within the Uwharrie National Forest. The bath house is one of the nicest you will ever find in a campground of this type. It is large, modern and clean. The sites are far apart, shaded, and all have picnic tables, fire rings with grills and a lantern post. There is a nice paved trail that loops around the campground, and there are several longer trails that leave right from there. If you are a boater and/or like to fish, the campground is very close to the boat ramps which have been updated and are very nice with paved parking and a nice fishing area.

What a beautiful campground! This was our home base for our first visit to Biltmore, and we could not have been more pleased. It's very convenient to the highway, easy to find and the views are magnificent. The whole place is clean as a pin, and the bathrooms and showers don't look like anyone has ever used them, they are spotless! This park gets a perfect 10 from us and we look forward to returning!

We just returned from a week at Camp Hatteras and we had a wonderful time. The campground is ultra clean and the sites are large and paved. The pools/spa are great and the camp store is well stocked. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The restrooms are nice and clean as well. The location is centrally located on the Outer Banks which makes days trips to the North or South convenient. I highly recommend it!

We rang in the New Year at Dan Nichols park and can't say enough good things about this campground. The sites are HUGE, the restrooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. The lake is beautiful and the amusement park is a lot of fun for the kids. We highly recommend this park!

We just spent a fabulous 3 day weekend at Mountain Stream RV Park! The owners have one of, if not the nicest park we have ever been to. Everything is neat and clean, the sites are great and that soothing sound of the stream is worth it's weight in gold! Thanks a bunch and we'll see you again in 2006!!

We spent a nice weekend at Deep Creek Tube Center & Campground. The Campground is right on Deep Creek and you can tube the creek without getting in your car. The sites were clean and level and we had a great time. The campground is close to Bryson City, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad depot and the park is only a mile up the road for more creek access. Jay and Kathy are great hosts and work hard to make your stay enjoyable.

One pool was open and it was in great shape. We swam a lot Saturday and enjoyed the water. It was very clean, although still cold, but fun! We rented a canoe and paddled all over the small fishing lake which was fun for the whole family. We saw a lot of turtles. They had a nice "T" shaped fishing pier on the lake and we caught a couple of small Brim. We played basketball (the backboard was broken) and the kids enjoyed the playground. There was also a nice trail by the river with some rocks to play on. There is also a trail around the lake. Campfires are allowed and the CG is very quiet at night. Would I return? No. Would I recommend this CG? No. This is more of a transient park with many people living on site. Too many run down trailers for my taste, and I'm pretty open minded! The store was not stocked with much of anything and the whole place had a run-down feel to it.

This is a great park with a fantastic campground. The bathrooms and showers were very clean and the water was HOT! Campfires are allowed and wood is available onsite. Shaded sites are beautiful and they also have a nice covered area for gatherings. 400+ acres with ball fields, biking & hiking trails, picnic shelters, several lakes, pool in the summer, etc.

We had a very nice time camping for the weekend at Zooland. The staff was great and the breakfast each morning in the lodge was fantastic. My son loved the game room, putt putt, hiking along the stream and biking.

We have stayed at High Rock Campground & Marina several times in the last 3 years. We have enjoyed every stay and will be returning again this summer with our new pop up camper. Stephanie and Lynn do wonderful job keeping the CG in tip top shape. The kids love the playground, game room and swimming pool. My wife and I love to fish and we all love to rent a pontoon for the day. Nestled in the woods right on the lake, it is a beautiful park!
