Ocean Lakes Family Campground, Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2005 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is still one of the best. It has everything you could want to do at the campground. However, we just camped in late May and the park was already very very busy and crowded. The new laundry and ice cream stand are a great addition. We camped at Ocean Lakes Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

River Creek Campground, Rutherfordton, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2005 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

We tried to camp here, however, the campground is not as expected by looking at their website. The campground owners are very friendly and accommodating. They even gave us a refund when we decided not to stay. We left this campground because the campground was burning trash and smoke from the burning trash was covering our campsite. Also, we were backed up to the river which also overlooked a mobile home with junk in the back yard. Very nice folks: just not what we expected. We camped at River Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Stone Mountain Park Campground, Stone Mountain, Georgia

Date of Stay: March, 2005 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Great Family location. Children safe to ride bicycles or fish in lake. Many campsites back up to the lake. Campfires are allowed. Small swimming pool but a water park is in the state park. Campground is located at Stone Mountain State Park. You must get in your vehicle for a five minute ride to most of the attractions. There is a lot to do once in the park. There are too many attractions to list. The laser light show is a must see. We camped at Stone Mountain Park Campground in a Travel Trailer.
