Mountain Meadow RV Park, Hungry Horse, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $38.00

Great park and location. I checked no on the 50 amp service as I requested it but only had 30 at my sight. I really loved the sight and location. Great owners here and they really take care of the camp and guests. We were in the camp on the 4th of july and they put on a great 4th of July show (fireworks) for everyone in camp. They also had free ice cream for everyone and cool glow in the dark stuff for the kids. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Powell Campground, Powell, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Great forest service campground right on the Lochsa River off Hwy 12. There is only electric hook-ups for some of the sights but no water or sewer. It was a surprise this time as they had up-graded the electrical to include 50 amp service. This was our second visit here and we will go back. We camped at Powell Campground in a Motorhome.

Canyon Pines RV Resort, Riggins, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Really nice little campground on the Little Salmon River. Well kept and clean. You do not have sewer at your sight but they do have a dump right on the way out that is easy to use. Seems the camp ground has under gone an ownership change since our last visit. We camped at Canyon Pines RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Winnemucca RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Good place to stop for an overnight stay on the way across I-80. The owners were very friendly and helpful. It is an older campground but well kept. I have used this campground twice over the years and would go back again. I tried another campground here on another trip and made a mistake by not sticking with this one. We camped at Winnemucca RV Park in a Motorhome.

Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA , Pescadero, California

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We really liked Costanoa a lot and found it very famiily friendly. This was our first visit for 3 nights and we booked our next stay before we left the park. I did use the restrooms and showers in our camping area one evening and they were not that clean. Maybe it was just poor timing but the shower could use some upgrading. Anyway, I did not go for the restrooms or showers and find the grounds and area very nice. We camped at Santa Cruz North / Costanoa KOA in a Motorhome.
