Majestic Oaks Park, Lake Ozark, Missouri
Date of Stay:
April, 2012 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
Nice trees, friendly staff, lots of activities for a family. There were quite a number of full time or seasonal residents. Overall a great park. The reason I didn't give them a 10 is that my site wasn't level, which is a pet peeve of mine. We camped at Majestic Oaks Park in a Travel Trailer.

Melody Acres RV Park, Hutchinson, Kansas
Date of Stay:
May, 2010 -
$25.00
Overall Rating:
Convenient park and the owners were super nice. Nice and shady, but not that well kept up. I would give it a higher ranking except the sites weren't level (a pet peeve of mine for a commercial campground). Also, the sewer connection was almost a foot above ground, causing problems with drainage. We camped at Melody Acres RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Zion Canyon Campground & RV Park, Springdale, Utah
Date of Stay:
June, 2006 -
$30.00
Overall Rating:
My main problem with this campground is that none of the sites were level. The entire campground slopes a great deal toward the river and little attempt has been made to level the individual camp sites. The sites are also very close together and I had to make several attempts at pulling my trailer in straight due to the tight spaces. Lots of trees, but other vegitation is sparse and the ground everywhere is pretty much dirt. But, the campsite is clean and it is in a great location (right outside Zions National Park). We camped at Zion Canyon Campground & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Goblin Valley State Park, Green River, Utah
Date of Stay:
April, 2006 -
$9.00
Overall Rating:
This Utah State Park campground was a pleasant surprise. The location is incredibly beautiful and scenic. The campground is new and well maintained. There's limited services and it's in the middle of nowhere, but that's part of the attraction! There are plenty of hikes nearby and Goblin valley is nearby. There are even some goblins in the campground. We camped at Goblin Valley State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Shady Acres RV Park & Campground, Green River, Utah
Date of Stay:
April, 2006 -
$33.00
Overall Rating:
Our site wasn't level and was rather hard to get into due to trees. The other sites looked better. The grass (what there was of it) wasn't too well kept. Other than that, it was a fine RV park and fairly clean. We camped at Shady Acres RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Provo KOA (Closed), Provo, Utah
Date of Stay:
May, 2005 -
$28.00
Overall Rating:
For being in a city, it certainly has a nice "hidden" feeling to it. Lots of trees. Right next to the Provo river. The site we were at was not level, but the other sites looked ok. Lots of ducks keep the guests company during the day. We camped at Provo KOA (Closed) in a Travel Trailer.
