Payson Campground & RV Resort, Payson, Arizona

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

The park is on a sandy hill, large ruts throughout, difficult to maneuver around. They said I would need reservations and charged my card immediately then said that there cancellation policy was no refunds but I would be able to use the days for up to a year. The sites are all sand most very narrow and not long enough. No table but the WiFi worked ok. I would never stay here again, find another park!! We camped at Payson Campground & RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Monarch Spur RV Park & Campground, Salida, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2015 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were close, none level. Our site had a dip that we were not able to avoid. There seems to be no maintenance done, over grown trees and weeds every where, hard to get in and out without running into a tree branch. They said they have WiFi, but we were not able to get on the three days we stayed and neither did any one else we talked to, had to go to the library in Salida. We camped at Monarch Spur RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Cactus RV Park, Tucumcari, New Mexico

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay over night, the best in town, Owners are very helpful and nice. Sites are gravel with long level pull throughs, full hook ups, good Wi-Fi, and cable TV. The park is very clean and walking distant from town. No extras but everything needed. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Cactus RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Twilight Resort, Montreal River Harbour, Ontario

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

The park was not kept up real well, but okay and they only had 15 amp. Not much around the area, but they have a kind of small restaurant, but what a great place to park for a couple of nights, right on Lake Superior. We would stay again if ever back in Canada. We camped at Twilight Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Kewadin Casino Hotel and Campground, Sault Sainte Marie, Michigan

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This has to be the worst park I have been in, hardly any sites are level and most have deep mud holes, stay clear if rain is in the forecast! There is NO maintenance being done. The host says park anywhere and he has no idea who or where is there. They have Wi-Fi but it hasn’t worked for awhile. They have no rules or regulations and we parked a crossed from a trailer that had five people in it with three large dogs they left tied outside the trailer, if not lose, that barked all the time. It was only $10 a night which was too much. Pass this one up. We camped at Kewadin Casino Hotel and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park, Pendleton, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great place for a stop either before or after going over the pass. Nice long paved pads, with grass. Everything was clean and maintained, very friendly people. I washed my truck and trailer and no one seemed to mind. Great view of the mountains and the vehicles headed up and down. The price was right but the casino helped them out! Would stay here again We camped at Wildhorse Resort and Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Holiday Hills RV Park, Coalville, Utah

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are parallel parking and small, if some one would have taken the site in front of me I would not have been able to get out the next morning. There seemed to be no maintenance done and the rest rooms and showers were filthy. The view would have been good of a mountain if not for somebody’s junk lying around. The check in was at the gas station and they did not really care as they seemed to have enough to take care of at the station. I would never stay here again. We camped at Holiday Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Cherry Creek State Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Large Park for being in so close to Denver, with lots of things to do, but over priced. The $24 is fine but add another $8 for day pass and another $10 for reservations, which is necessary. The grass needed mowed about a month ago around most of the sites except the host in Pioneer loop which was the only thing they did. The sites were nice long paved back ins. Would not stay here again We camped at Cherry Creek State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Arrrowhead Park, Neola, Iowa

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Great public park one mile away from the highway. Easy to get to, quiet, peaceful, clean. Long back ins. Small lake to fish or just walk around. Great place to stay over night or for a couple of nights. The drawback is only electric, but the price is good. We stayed a couple of nights and loved it. Would stay here again. We camped at Arrrowhead Park in a Travel Trailer.

Mount St Helen's RV Park - KOA, Castle Rock, Washington

Date of Stay: July, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Good location for seeing Mount St Helens, friendly helpful staff, beautiful scenery from the terrace sites. Good WiFi but not much for cable TV, was able to get satellite. The downside is the sites, they are not level, I had to use all the blocking I brought, and very small, barely enough room to get a trailer in and no place to park your truck except sideways partially in street, then the only way to walk out was through the neighbors. I asked if I could park in an empty site and was told no, although there were plenty of empty sites. We camped at Mount St Helen's RV Park - KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Lady Luck Casino, Caruthersville, Missouri

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

Great overnight park, long level concrete pull-throughs. Very clean; and all the staff was very friendly. The restaurant at the casino was good, no need to unhook. The park is on the banks of the Mississippi river. The price was right but the casino took care of that. We will stay again. We camped at Lady Luck Casino in a Fifth Wheel.

Buck Creek RV Park, Abilene, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a good park for an over night, but a little expensive for no amenities, not even a light. Extra long and wide pull thorough sites, good 50/30 Amp electrical and two sewer connections. Good luck getting a site. There are 30 sites not 50 as stated and 28 are always full with monthly workers. We stayed a week and watched them turn away travelers because of this. I would stay here again if I could get a site, but might as well just go down the road! We camped at Buck Creek RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Merced River RV Resort, Delhi, California

Date of Stay: August, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

It’s a older park with mostly permanent residents. The spaces for travelers are large enough but pretty much worn out. Our rig was covered in and out with dirt, sand and dust. The best sites were for the permanents. They insisted that reservations were needed with a credit card and 7 day cancellation, only about a third of the sites were occupied during our stay! They have a great dog area and a pool that is not real convenient. It is good place to stay to see Yosemite. We camped at Merced River RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Mesa Regal RV Resort (55+ Park), Mesa, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is very nice RV Resort, mostly park models, with a great hot tub and swimming pools and lots of things to do. The sites have plenty of room with good concrete patios if you can get in; we were put between a lamp post and tree on a narrow street which made it very difficult to get in and out! The second week we were here we had a new bicycle stolen from our site and then found out we were not the only ones, so from then on we had to be sure everything was locked up. There rates are deceiving, be sure and check out all the add-ons, sewer, trash, water, $2.00 for a badge etc. We stayed here in a 5th wheel and will find a different place next time; actually you’re here for “valley of the sun”. We camped at Mesa Regal RV Resort (55+ Park) in a Fifth Wheel.
