Great paved roads and sites. Saw many Red-headed Woodpeckers there.

We have been camping In a 35' Motor Home at Oak Hollow RV Park since 10/14/2013. We commit to our site by the year so we can travel and have it when we return. My wife and I have camped at hundreds of SP, COE and Campgrounds in the USA, Canada, and Alaska. We have camped at Resorts to Boom docking. We are members of PPA, C2C, and GS. Oak Hollow RV Park may not be the biggest or have the most amities. But three years ago there were about 12 RV sites now it is around 70 RV sites. The owner is adding sites almost every week. The new ones are all level concrete with water, 50 amp. electric and sewer. There are lots of trees for shade and birds to enjoy. We rate Oak Hollow RV a 8.0 when the Laundry room in finished our rating will go up to 9.0.

Made reservations around 8:00 AM on the morning of 6/15/09. Spoke with two ladies the first one said they had 2 open sites but I needed to speak with Kim about PassPort America reservations. Kim came to the phone and said yes there were 2 sites available for 6/17/09 for up to a week using PPA. So I told her to book me for arrival on 6/17/09 which she confirmed I was booked. Got a call late that night by a man that said he was the owner and that he could not honor my reservations as no sites were available. I asked him how this was possible as I had talked with Kim and she assured my 2 sites were available? He stated that Kim was new and didn't know, I also told him that I spoke with another lady first which had said the same thing but that Kim would have to be the one to handle it. His reply was he didn't know what he could do as no sites were available. So if you are planning on going to this CG you had better make sure you have it in writing or email or you will might arrive with no site available.

Spent the spring camping here. Sites were big and fully graveled, your not in your neighbors door. Staff was very friendly. It is close to Maggie Valley which has many attractions, and it is peaceful and quiet. I would highly recommend this park. Is is laid out very well, with one way roads and part of the sites are pull throughs. The restrooms are the cleanest I have ever seen.

I camped there for six days, roads to sites are gravel. They were filling the swimming pool, and grading the roads while I was there. PA rate is $15.00 a night, I will stay there again. I have a 35' "A" with PU toad. Camped on site B1 with full 50 amp hookup, it was about 45' x 70'.
