Most of the folks at this park are permanent residents. Nice people. Uvas Park is a very quiet campground. If you want to "get away from it all" then this is for you. If you are a TV or internet 'junkie' then bring it with you as there is no TV service and a regular antenna will not work here. They have Wi-Fi but it is satellite based and very slow. We stayed a week.

Date of Stay:

This is a very small RV park with limited space when full. Staff is friendly, Wi-Fi and cable worked well. But in spite of expecting to pay more in CA, this park is too expensive for what you get. We spent two nights here. Rather than come back we will push on up the road the next time.

Date of Stay:

Gravel sites are fine and reasonably spacious. All hookups work well. Cable TV is <10 channels. Wifi works fine for first 50% of park(and is not included in monthly rate). Shade is nice in this hot Texas sun (84 degrees today in February!), There are no organized activities; the pool is closed most of the time and the clubhouse has not been open since we have been here (3 weeks). We rented the site for a month and will move on next week. Bathrooms and laundry are small but clean and functionable. Minimal offerings in both. The biggest reason for our low rating is the total unfriendliness of the staff. The only time you hear fromm them or see them is if they have something to complain about or a rule to remind of you of. They are distant and not customer friendly at all. We will not stay at this park again.
