Zion West RV Park, Leeds, Utah

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Agree with the other reviews. We chose Zion West as the base to visit the Kolob section of Zion and the UT 14 area. The market in Leeds is open on Sunday (not automatic in rural UT). There is a gourmet restaurant, the Cosmopolitan, in nearby Silver Reef. We camped at Zion West RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Quail Creek State Park, Hurricane, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

No frills, pleasant view. Don't know why park is listed under St. George since it is far closer to Hurricane. Near UT 9, but no highway noise. Be warned that you will be gated in from 9PM to 7AM, there is an emergency exit over a tire ripper if needed but of course you can't return. We camped at Quail Creek State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Paradise Shores RV Park, Bridgeport, California

Date of Stay: July, 2009 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

The rate shown is weekly divided by 7. There are immaculate bathrooms and showers. There is a strong wi-fi signal. The owners are outstandingly helpful and pleasant. We had a vent cover disintegrate (too much Nevad sun), they ordered us a replacement with no markup and even helped me install it. Re the previous review: Bugs happen in the country by a lake, that is why your RV has screens. We camped at Paradise Shores RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

No complaints. The permanents that another poster mentioned are still there but the sites are no longer cluttered/messy. We would stay again. We camped at Echo Bay - Lake Mead National Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Calizona RV Park (55+ park), Needles, California

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

No-frills, desert park geared towards snowbirds. Needs a bit of upkeep, but perhaps the painting and grouting is planned during the soon-to-arrive offseason. We enjoyed a visit to Mitchell Caverns, an hour away. Fuel prices in Needles still gouge at the pace of 70-90 cents more per gallon. Overall a positive stay, may stay again. We camped at Calizona RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Peterson's Tecopa Palms RV Park, Tecopa Hot Springs, California

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Small but well maintained and run. We were lucky to get an overnight spot in busy season. The hot springs are a treat. We also enjoyed visits to the museum in nearby Shoshone as well as the date bread at China Ranch. Will certainly return. We camped at Peterson's Tecopa Palms RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
