Mountain View RV Park, Van Horn, Texas

Date of Stay: May, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

RV sign can be seen from I-10. Easy access from interstate. All sites are pull-thru and very spacious as are the roads. New owners are very friendly and helpful. Office is open from 8 AM to 8 PM and the owner lives on site and only a phone call away. We camped at Mountain View RV Park in a Motorhome.

Live Oak Landing, Freeport, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

All sites are wide, long on cement pads. Two large recreation rooms with refrigerator, attractive large wooden tables and chairs to accommodate a crowd and large grill. Boat rentals, boat launch, fishing boat rental with captain and all equipment. This is a wonderful campground with trees, very clean and even has a very large fenced in dog park. People who work here are very friendly and aim to please. There are also beautiful, new and modern cabins to rent with a downstairs bedroom and also a loft with a bed (mattress on the floor). I received a special rate because we were a large RV group and received a discount. We camped at Live Oak Landing in a Motorhome.

Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina, Big Pine Key, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2012 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

Great park and pet friendly. They even have a beach access for dogs so they can go for a swim. Sites are large. Park is quiet. People very friendly and the restaurant serves breakfast and lunch. Dinner on weekend. Small with picnic style eating outside. I am not sure if $55 is what we paid. We camped at Sunshine Key RV Resort & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Food in restaurant was good. People very friendly. Good location for seeing Death Valley. There were more people in the motel than in the RV area. We camped at Longstreet Hotel Casino & RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
