Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

The location is very nice. The sites are not much more then a parking spot with hook-ups. No effort to make sites attactive in any way. On sandy surface with some grass, except no grass on beachfront sites. Sites very very close, esp waterfront. Many dogs at park with fenced cage areas outside on small sites. Campers not so friendly, office staff nice enough. Before you choose your site, note the dumpster location (north end and south side of office), and town hall building which borders property on south end (which can have it's share of activity especially on the weekend). Road noise (A1A) during day but hardly any at night. Nicest park in area. Very good restaurants in area: Blue & Betty's are our favorites. This is a park that you'll be left alone by staff and fellow campers. Sand on beach soft and tiresome to take long walks. We camped at Beverly Beach RV Camptown RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Carrabelle Beach RV Resort, Carrabelle, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are small, gravel & very unlevel- bring plenty of wood. Only a hand full are concrete & are hard to get. Unpaved roads also, dusty. Best feature is location right across from public beach. Bugs can be bad too. We camped at Carrabelle Beach RV Resort in a Tent Trailer.

Tanglewood Outback RV Resort, Sebring, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

The Park is rated by Woodall's as a 5 star resort, which I believe is outdated. The resort is resting on it's laurels! The sites are not as portrayed on their web site- landscaped with privacy, only the super sites which are rented for 6 month periods are this way. The others are large sites out in the open on dried up crunchy brown grass. The utilities are at best 12" off the ground which is not conducive to the age group the park caters too. Not to mention many are in shoddy condition. Other then being large the sites are nothing special. Many have only a concrete patio. The Outback laundry facilities are dated. The resorts laundry room is better tho the A/C units need reinstalled & the room needs cleaned daily instead of weekly. The pool lounge chairs need cleaned. The resort has many activities to enjoy. The people (residents) are the biggest asset of the resort. Everyone is very nice & welcoming & encourage you to enjoy yourself & join in. The resort grounds are beautiful & green while the Outback section seems to have little attention paid to it aesthetically. Large dogs seem to be discriminated against. Nice place but not living up entirely to 5 stars! We camped at Tanglewood Outback RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA), Wade, North Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nicest park we stay in. We look forward to stopping every time we're on our way by. Could the owners go to Florida & open a similar park? For we've stayed in some Woodall's 5 star ones that aren't near as nice. We camped at Fayetteville RV Resort (formerly Fayetteville / Wade KOA) in a Travel Trailer.

Inland Harbor RV Park, Darien, Georgia

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very easy to get to right off the interstate. Not much there but good for over-night. We've stayed there several times over last 12 months. And have always found the people just fine in the office, tho they may be casual. I'm particular & have never encountered problem. I called them & left message for reservation & calls were promptly returned. We camped at Inland Harbor RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
