Around Pond RV Park, Greeneville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2013 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

There is a two acre pond that is the main focus of the park, with abundant catfish and water fowl that enjoy safety and tranquillity on this beautiful pond. The swans and geese are not friendly but not aggressive either. Every evening the owner feeds the fish in the pond, causing a maelstrom of activity as hundred of catfish frenzy for the food, competing with the ducks, geese and swans. Catch and release fishing is free. There is a large covered picnic area, with tables and seating, a communal fire pit, and a covered seating place where you can sit and chat with the owners, or locals. There are a number of long term residents, but they are contracting workers, not full time residents, and there is no noise or rubbish to worry about. A very nice friendly park, with down to earth common sense owners, and a place where I will visit often. We camped at Around Pond RV Park in a Motorhome.

Joy Land RV Park, Tonopah, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

A very basic park, with nothing to attract anyone, but it is quiet, level enough, and the Passport America price of $10 was just right. I would stay here again if fate ever steers us to the middle of Nevada again. We camped at Joy Land RV Park in a Motorhome.

High Adventure River Tours RV Park, Hagerman, Idaho

Date of Stay: April, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed a week at this RV Park, enjoying huge pull through sites, a small but excellent cafe, working WI-FI, good cell phone service and the MiFi worked well. Our class A motorhome fit with ease. The food in the cafe is reason to return, as is the friendly owner. We camped at High Adventure River Tours RV Park in a Motorhome.

We used Passport America Discount here, and stayed for a week. No problems with our 40 ft Horse Trailer, the access was easy and the site was well laid out. Very friendly people work at the office; mail and deliveries allowed made it easy for our mail to catch up with us. We camped at Tombstone Territories RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We first stayed here in 2004, and were impressed with the park. We are still impressed with the park and it's facilities, very friendly people, fast WiFi, and our 40 ft Horse Trailer fit very well. Had we have had horses in the trailer, they would have been welcome too. We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Fifth Wheel.
