Red Coconut RV Resort, Fort Myers Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2011 - $93.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for two weeks, price reflects $3.00 per day for each dog (have 2 dogs). Really had a wonderful time. Really great to be on the beach side (4th row). Will return here again. Only rates an 8 because of high price of sites. Staff was very helpful. We camped at Red Coconut RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Brookville Campgrounds, Barnegat, New Jersey

Date of Stay: September, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

One of our favorite campgrounds. Approximate 12 miles from Long Beach Island. Nice, friendly, quiet campground (with no scheduled activities). It is located in the Pine Barrens. WARNING: The entrance road is very rough. We camped at Brookville Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

San Carlos RV Park & Island Resort, Fort Myers Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. You cannot find a better location for the money. We Walked to Fort Myers Beach and found some great little rustic dockside restaurants just outside the campground. We stayed for a week (the nightly rate reflects the weekly rate). We had a waterfront site which was well located for us. The sites are small (as we had expected) but we had a great time here and everyone was very nice. Keep in mind, many campgrounds in the area are farther away and you will have to drive into Fort Myers Beach, which is like driving in New York City during rush hour. Stay here if you want to spend time in Fort Myers Beach, not if you are looking to spend all your time in the campground. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION. We camped at San Carlos RV Park & Island Resort in a Travel Trailer.
