Nice place to stay on the lake. There are several beaches available and a boat launch. About half the 40 sites are water & electric the rest are water only. Sites are level and widely spaced with a fire ring available.

Date of Stay:

Most sites are 30 amp, but there are a few 50 amp ones! Sites were nicely spaced and level, but were all dirt! Lots of trails for biking and hiking and quite a few geocaches in the park!

The main attribute of this park is your at the beach. There are no hook-ups and there is a water fill and a dump station if needed. Most sites are not level, none are paved. It was still cool enough at night to be comfortable but later in the Summer that would not be so and quite hours are from 10PM to 7AM! We enjoyed are stay and will be back in the Fall, would not stay here in the Summer. This is not a state park, it is a county/city park run by the City of Jacksonville which is also Duval county!

Nice campground on the waterway connecting Lake Okeechobee to the Gulf. Sites are level and well laid out and nicely spaced. You can fish in the waterway but otherwise no access such as swimming!

We stay here because it is close to some relatives. This is convenient to I-95 but trees and shrubs block noise. Staff is helpful and full of good info. There are a number of full time residents but there are some pull thru transient slots separate from the full time residents! They do have propane!

Staff was great help. Sites were level and easy in and out for our big rig! We were only here a few days but if they had full hookups we would stay longer. Interesting area with very good museum in the town. We enjoyed out stay here and would definitely come back.

This was our second time here and we enjoyed this visit also. Sites were easy in and fairly level. Staff was very helpful. Water pressure was great. Only comment I would make is some of the trees need trimming we backed out of our pull-through site to avoid rubbing a tree in the front of the site.

Sites were level and had FHU. The reservation system can be strange. Per their recommendation on the phone, I made reservations by e-mail, I got prompt reply to complete by calling with cc number. I called 3 times to do this and never got a return call! We would have liked to stay for a few more days but they had not room, yet there were 3-4 empty spaces every night we were there. That seems high number of no shows, i suspect they did not have good hold on their space availability! Nonetheless, we would stay here again. We live the location and access!

We enjoyed our short stay here. Site was level and easy in/out with our big rig. Staff was very helpful with info on local area. There were a number of sites that had grass and if we were going to stay very long we would have requested one of them - there were several available while we were there. But, for out short stay the site we had was so easy in/out it met our needs fine. We would stay here again.

Our site was level and big rig friendly. Staff was helpful and scenery was outstandingly unusual. We made a short stop here and glad we did. Very unique facility with interesting geologic history. We would definitely stay here again! Price reflects Golden Age card discount.

This was a nice clean park under new management the day before we arrived. The new owners were new to RV Park business and things were a little confused but they seemed to have good business acumen and were interested in making improvements. Power was a problem probably due to the age of the park. Fortunately we did not need our a/c so we managed alright. We would stay here again as it was convenient to town!

This National Forest Campground is located on US 93 2.9 mi north of Sula (1/4 mi north of milepost 15)! It has 10 sites, plus 1 bicycle site, with picnic tables, fire rings, and vault toilets. It also has a picnic area and handicapped accessible facilities to include a fishing pier on the river. Campground can accommodate trailers and RV's to 50'. There are no hook-ups but water is available. We booked 2 nights and found it to be so pleasant we booked 8 more nights. Sites are level and all close to the creek flowing through the RV park. We cannot wait to visit this campsite again! The camphosts were friendly and helpful.

Nice clean campground with very helpful and friendly staff. We enjoyed our short stay here while waiting for parts to come into the local Cummins shop. The rate was with Good Sam discount (even though they never looked at my card) and for a 2nd person, my wife travels with me! We would probably stay here again.

Beautiful park on a beautiful lake. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. WiFi was good. Our big rig had adequate room to maneuver! We would definitely stay here again!

This was a nice park and all the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. It is big rig accessible but tight for rigs 40 ft and over. Wi-fi seemed to work fine when we used it. Usually very late at night and I suspect we were one of few on it.
