Governors' RV Park and Campground, Casselton, North Dakota

Date of Stay: September, 2018 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here unexpectedly while waiting for some generator parts to arrive at the Cummins Service Center in Fargo. The sites were pretty level, it was far enough off the interstate that there was no disruptive noise. The Staff was helpful. We camped at Governors' RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a great, great dog park in nearby Whitefish. It is on the south side of Whitefish and the campground is on north side of Kalispell so it is not as far as you might think initially. Well worth the time to take your best friend there.

It was a little further from town then we expected, but it was a nice campground that we enjoyed. The grassy spots were level and easy in and out. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again if in the area. We camped at Evergreen Campground in a Motorhome.

It was a convenient place to stay not too far from the highway. Spots were not too close and had most had a nice grassy spot alongside your camper. Laundry was clean and machines in good condition. We camped at Shady Rest RV Park in a Motorhome.

Red Trail Campground, Medora, North Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are tight. Staff was very good in our experience. They even had a reasonably competent RV repair person on the staff. They got my water heater working again, even though they missed they missed the fact that the electric element was burned out. The gas side worked fine. Main attraction was it was close to town and the National Park which was what we were there to see! We camped at Red Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Springfield KOA, Rochester, Illinois

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

When we had electrical problems with the power pedestal they quickly offered us another site and all was good. Plenty of space for the dogs to play and run! The owner was there and involved and very nice. It is off the beaten path, but well marked with distinctive road signs that make it easy to get to! And, it is convenient to downtown and sights. We would definitely stay here again! We camped at Springfield KOA in a Motorhome.

Crossville / I-40 KOA , Crossville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

It was easy in/our from I-40 and we were only there one night, Had nice dog run for our companion. Sites were spacious, but many had slight slope but not unreasonable. We prefered to leave our wheels on the ground and live with the slight decline! The pull thru site was convenient for us. We camped at Crossville / I-40 KOA in a Motorhome.

Colt Creek State Park, Lakeland, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2018 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in one of the drive thru sites at this new campground! Lots of trails good for hiking or biking. There was a separate equestrian campground. Staff was great, willing to help in any way to make your visit more enjoyable. We parked so we had the curbside of the RV to shade us in the afternoon, as there was little natural shade. I would give it a 10 if it had sewer hookups! We camped at Colt Creek State Park in a Motorhome.

The lack of water and sewer connections is only negative about this great family friendly campground. It is full of families having a great time. Boating is a easy and the shoreline is full of boats of all types. Spacing of the RV spots is generous. We camped at Battle Run COE in a Motorhome.
