Collier-Seminole State Park, Naples, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2017 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We particularly enjoyed the kayaking from the park. It is a convenient location for visiting the western end of the Everglades National Park. Naples is also nearby. Several nature trails are on the park grounds as well as some historic spots. We camped at Collier-Seminole State Park in a Motorhome.

Fish Eating Creek Campground, Palmdale, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

This is "old FL" section of the State. Campground is on Fish Eating Creek, which is a great fishing destination. Kayaking is good but low water level in the Winter limits it. Sites were level and grassy and nicely spaced out. Pack your supplies before coming as no convenient shopping near by. We enjoyed our stay and will be back! We camped at Fish Eating Creek Campground in a Motorhome.

Lithia Springs Park, Lithia, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

In the Summer this would be an especially nice place because of the swimming in the Spring. There is immediacy adjacent to it nice natfure area great for biking or hiking! The spots are nicely arranged with a good amount of privacy for each spot. Leveling can be a problem in some sites. Kayaking on the Alafia River is nice. We will be back! We camped at Lithia Springs Park in a Motorhome.

Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park, Micanopy, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Some great hiking and biking trails on this very large state park. We have driven across this prairie on I-75 for decades but finally stopped to see what was there. A lot! They are trying to restore the prairie to its its pre-developement days of the late 1800's. They have a beautiful new visitors center. We camped at Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park in a Motorhome.

Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area, Flagler Beach, Florida

Date of Stay: December, 2016 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed in the backside sites and enjoyed our stay. Beach access is still limited but available due to storm damage in October. Sites were level and had most had a thick patch of palmetto between adjacent sites for privacy. Staff was especially helpful. We camped at Gamble Rogers Memorial State Recreation Area in a Motorhome.

O'Leno State Park, High Springs, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

Most sites are 30 amp, but there are a few 50 amp ones! Sites were nicely spaced and level, but were all dirt! Lots of trails for biking and hiking and quite a few geocaches in the park! We camped at O'Leno State Park in a Motorhome.

Huguenot State Park, Jacksonville, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

The main attribute of this park is your at the beach. There are no hook-ups and there is a water fill and a dump station if needed. Most sites are not level, none are paved. It was still cool enough at night to be comfortable but later in the Summer that would not be so and quite hours are from 10PM to 7AM! We enjoyed are stay and will be back in the Fall, would not stay here in the Summer.
This is not a state park, it is a county/city park run by the City of Jacksonville which is also Duval county! We camped at Huguenot State Park in a Motorhome.

Bass Lake RV Campground, Dillon, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

We stay here because it is close to some relatives. This is convenient to I-95 but trees and shrubs block noise. Staff is helpful and full of good info. There are a number of full time residents but there are some pull thru transient slots separate from the full time residents! They do have propane! We camped at Bass Lake RV Campground in a Motorhome.

Staff was great help. Sites were level and easy in and out for our big rig! We were only here a few days but if they had full hookups we would stay longer. Interesting area with very good museum in the town. We enjoyed out stay here and would definitely come back. We camped at Green River State Park in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables, Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This was our second time here and we enjoyed this visit also. Sites were easy in and fairly level. Staff was very helpful. Water pressure was great. Only comment I would make is some of the trees need trimming we backed out of our pull-through site to avoid rubbing a tree in the front of the site. We camped at OK RV Park & Canyonlands Stables in a Motorhome.

Hill AFB FamCamp (Military FamCamp), Hill AFB, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Sites were level and had FHU. The reservation system can be strange. Per their recommendation on the phone, I made reservations by e-mail, I got prompt reply to complete by calling with cc number. I called 3 times to do this and never got a return call! We would have liked to stay for a few more days but they had not room, yet there were 3-4 empty spaces every night we were there. That seems high number of no shows, i suspect they did not have good hold on their space availability! Nonetheless, we would stay here again. We live the location and access! We camped at Hill AFB FamCamp (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Oregon Trail Campground, Twin Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed our short stay here. Site was level and easy in/out with our big rig. Staff was very helpful with info on local area. There were a number of sites that had grass and if we were going to stay very long we would have requested one of them - there were several available while we were there. But, for out short stay the site we had was so easy in/out it met our needs fine. We would stay here again. We camped at Oregon Trail Campground in a Motorhome.
