Camp Blanco RV Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Love Love Love this little park and always our favorite spot on the Oregon coast! Super friendly family that runs it and the host was extremely helpful too. Our site was near the highway but it got plenty quiet at night. The park is smaller but extremely well maintained & clean, and despite what a previous reviewer claims (sounds like he had a bad day), the sites have plenty of space to put put all 4 of our slides on our brand new 36 foot trailer. Great wi-fi and close to the beaches and everything in town. We come here every year along with quite a few others who "retreat" here to escape the Medford area heat for a couple months. We've even gotten to know several of them who come here every year also. Great place to stay anytime!! We will be back!! We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

JGW RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Great park we visit every year on our way to the Oregon coast! Love the people here that run it and the sites are plenty big. We bought a new 36 foot trailer with 4 slides and had no trouble with space for everything. Great wi-fi, clean restrooms and showers, a picnic table and close to Redding for shopping etc. The Sacramento river is close and is beautiful to take a picnic to! We will definitely come back here again next year! We camped at JGW RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Camp Blanco RV Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Our favorite little park in our favorite Oregon coast town. Port Orford is our getaway and this park is always a treat. Guided to our site by the host, got a little goodie basket from the owner's little boy, and could not have picked nicer weather. It is a little breezy here but we'll take the wind over the 110 degree Redding weather any day. Good WiFi and good cable TV. Clean meticulously kept park and the little RV parts store on premises had the part my husband could not find anywhere else! We will always return here. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Valley of the Rogue State Park, Gold Hill, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Always a favorite stop in Oregon. Clean and spacious park with paved roads. No WiFi or TV but good water, power and sewer. Only gripes were dump station broken down so our friends could not dump, and park ranger would not let them use a full hookup site even though they paid to stay there and should have been allowed to dump. Will definitely stay here again though. We camped at Valley of the Rogue State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Millsite RV Park, Myrtle Creek, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Very nicer little city run park right off I-5. Very nice friendly host who made us feel welcome. Great NEW wifi was just installed the day before we got there and worked excellent. Clean restrooms. No TV but that's OK. Green grass, paved sites with tables. Would definitely stay here again! We camped at Millsite RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Woodson Bridge RV Park, Corning, California

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Great setting along riverfront property. Huge beautiful trees. No WiFi and was told you only got it at the office if you bring your laptop. Lots of full timers here but didn't bother us at all. Restrooms clean(ish) but older and dated. TV was pretty fuzzy but watchable. Other than that we would stay here again maybe if passing through. We camped at Woodson Bridge RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Tower Park, Lodi, California

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $80.00
Overall Rating:

I hate rating "poor" but to be fair to the other 8 parks we stayed at on our trip, this was the worst and a HUGE letdown. Thought a "corporate" KOA "Resort" would be super nice, but this one is awfully poorly run. Restrooms were very dirty with muddy floors and tp & towels all over. Lots of cobwebs all over the buildings and in the restrooms, many with live spiders on them. NO WIFI and when asked the office person said "Yeah it is really bad Internet here". Dirty trash cans ) all over the outside), tons of kids in yellow KOA shirts buzzing all over on golf carts doing nothing, and only 1 fishing boat and 1 patio boat for rent???? Sorry but would not return here due to the overpriced rate of $80 per night for dirty rundown campgrounds. Sad! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park™ Camp-Resort: Tower Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sacramento Shade RV Park, Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Would love to rate this park but we tried to get in and it is so tight we could not even get into one of the sites! They let cars park on both sides of the interior paved roads, and I crept through the main road with about 4 inches clearance on either side of my mirrors. Would advise anyone bigger than a pickup camper to not drive in without walking through first! We had to leave. We camped at Sacramento Shade RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

JGW RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Always a pleasure to stay in this place! Very friendly host and we met the owner's wife who was very friendly. Close to the beautiful Sacramento River, but HOT in the summer. Good Wi-Fi and TV. Just a few minutes into town and lots of trails to walk or bike. We were helped with suggestions on places to eat and things to see like the Turtle Bay park and the Sun Dial Bridge. We come here yearly and will definitely stay here next year, but maybe after it cools down a bit! For now we're on our way back to the Oregon coast to stay a month in the nice cool weather! Great park! We camped at JGW RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camp Blanco RV Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Another of our favorite spots on the coast! Our new 40' pusher fit fine and despite another poster's comments, there were 8 or 10 other "big rigs" in the park. Nice gift basket at arrival and the host helped us into our space. Close to stores and laundry right across the street. The owner was very kind and helped us change a fraying tire on our tow dolly. We will definitely stay here on our next coastal trip. We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pheasant Ridge RV Resort, Wilsonville, Oregon

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

One of our favorites as always. Our cable worked fine as opposed to another poster. Nicely laid out and close to shopping. Office staff was great and very nice clean restrooms. We even met another couple who visited here regularly. Staff lady helped us with dining ideas and suggestions, and a maintenance guy helped us with our steps which stuck. Very helpful. Plenty of room for our new 40' pusher. We will say here again! We camped at Pheasant Ridge RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Started our trip south from here in our new(ish) diesel pusher. Very nice people run this park and we loved it. Clean and quiet. I disagree with the earlier poster about the Internet. We got a full signal and it worked fine. Pretty setting with great views and plenty of room in our site. We will stay here again! We camped at Gig Harbor RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The Mill Casino RV Park, North Bend, Oregon

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Ended our trip with the Mill Casino! Didn't do so hot gambling but had a great stay here as always. Great staff in the office/store and good wi-fi. And YES the casino does have an indoor pool! Nice clean park and easy to get in and out of. One previous review mentioned the summer heat being a problem, but it doesn't ever seem to get that warm here?? They must be from somewhere REALLY hot! Will return to this park on our next annual trip! We camped at The Mill Casino RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Camp Blanco RV Park, Port Orford, Oregon

Overall Rating:

Our 5th time here, and loved it again. The owner and the host both came out to help us into our site. We received a lovely gift basket with goodies as always. Don't know what's up with a previous review as there are a few who apparently stay in the park full-time, and we saw 2 who were obviously disabled folks. Very clean and quiet well kept park close to everything. Love the clean and uncrowded Port Orford beaches, Cape Blanco lighthouse, and we tried a new restaurant in town called Redfish - wow! We will stay here again on our annual trip! We camped at Camp Blanco RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
