High Sierra RV & Campground, Oakhurst, California

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park for staying outside the south west gate of Yosemite. The park is not too special or fancy so don't go looking for frills. The spaces were clean and enough room to feel comfortable. The park staff are real friendly and keep the park clean. Easy check in and also easy to book online. Park is close to Highway 41 for easy access and close to food and shopping. We camped at High Sierra RV & Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

A little rough to look at but very nice and quiet. Not paved and a few pot holes. Drive slow. Pretty view of the Rockies. Nice staff and fun playground for the kids. New bike/walking path very nice. Right off the interstate and easy to find. We camped at Butte KOA in a Motorhome.

Marina Dunes RV Park, Marina, California

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very nice and well located for touring Monterey. The park is well maintained and has a very nice club house for groups with free coffee. Nice game room for the kids. Try to stay on the west side of park to avoid the all night highway sounds. We arrived after hours and was pleased to find our reservation tags waiting on the bulletin board We camped at Marina Dunes RV Park in a Motorhome.

Santa Maria Pines RV Park (Closed), Santa Maria, California

Date of Stay: February, 2009 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

The park is very nice for a short trip. It is the only RV park in town unless you are an Elk. Next to a minature golf arcade so good for the kids. Pool was clean looking but too cold to swim. Many pull thurs and easy to get in and out. No one there to check you in. Just park and leave your payment at the window. No credit cards. We camped at Santa Maria Pines RV Park (Closed) in a Motorhome.
