Nice campground for an overnight (as we did), but not a lot to do around the area and no pool or other activities for kids. There are also no trees around the park resulting in constant buffeting all day by the relentless winds. However their hookups are all quite accessible and work well. Wi-Fi is free if you ask for the code and cable TV is only $2.00. All sites seem to be level and are of crushed stone. The park is pet friendly and there are two 50' x 50' dog run areas -- one for puppies (small dogs) and another for larger ones. Very friendly and accommodating staff member. We would stay here again if passing through.

Gravel sites here, with some leveling required (for us, anyway). Weekend stays, we found out too late, are a two day minimum. Getting to the park is a bit of a climb up a dirt road with lots of curves and a steep grade over the last 100 yards or so. You also need to be very careful where you walk on their nature trails, as there is poison ivy all over the place. Several of their sites have wonderful, unobstructed views of the river valley below. There is a good WiFi network and a few UNC (public) digital TV channels available. We will stay here again.

This small RV park is tucked away behind another facility on Husky Street in Pigeon Forge. You have to look for the office sign at the end of the street PAST the other RV park. The proprietor here was very friendly and gracious, helping us with suggestions for where to go, eat, and do in the area. They also have discounts coupons on many of the shows and attractions. Our site was perfectly level and we also had a nice deck overlooking the area for our personal use. It was extremely quiet and peaceful in the evenings. We will be returning again next year, and this time with other family members who will rent our their nearby cabins.

We had a nice level spot near the back of the park that was very quiet, with plenty of shade. The park provides a not of concierge services with respect to Grand Ole Opry ticketing, shuttles into Nashville, etc. Nice things for this area. We did have a problem with the 30 amp circuit breaker going out on us. The breakers are not on your site. They are located at consolidated boxes nearby. We weren't aware of this and had to call the office to find out where it was when the power went out during our stay. Despite this issue, we will stay here again.

This is the second time we've stayed here and in both instances the draw was the proximity to Graceland, an easy five minute walk via a nice shortcut from the park. Nothing fancy, however. Lots of shade trees, if that's what you're seeking. We had a nice level site with a great WiFi connection. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We will stay here again.

This was one of the best RV parks at which we've stayed. Our site was a concrete pad that was level all around. Hookups were quick and easy. Lots of nice green grass between sites. The staff here were both helpful and friendly, clearly demonstrating their appreciation of our business. The large pool and recreation area had pools and splash areas for both adults and little ones. Everything was clean and very well maintained. It was kind of depressing that we were only here for an overnight, as we wanted to stay for a while longer. We will stay again.

This is a very popular campground for local people with many families staying here for weeks during the summer season. We were staying here for a week during the PGA Championship tournament being held near Sheboygan. We were greeted at the entrance gate and were provided with information and site location from the gatehouse person (a very friendly college-aged woman). We had problems from the beginning as we could not find our electric or water hookups at the site. We had requested and paid for full hookups. In addition, the site was an interior, sloping site between transient sites and seasonal sites. While I waited at the site, my wife took our tow vehicle to the park office, about 400 yards down the access road. She returned several minutes later with the park's general manager who was very helpful in showing me where the "missing" hookups were: shared with several of the seasonal sites. I let him know that the site was unacceptable to us (which had been assigned by the phone rep when we made our reservations months earlier). He said he understood and assigned us to a far superior site near the center of the park and near all the amenities offered. The other negative was that the park had a plague of mosquitos! You could not leave your RV without repellent on. We left at the end of the week with bites all over us. For families the park may be a terrific place, with many, many activities for kids. It's also a NASCAR-themed park for people interested in that. We will not stay here again.

We had an awful experience here, arriving during a rainstorm. As it was in the evening, around 7pm, the campground was filled with RVs. There must have been some local event going on, but we were only overnighting. It was very difficult maneuvering around to our site, a pull-through, having to dodge units sticking out of their sites into the roadway. Most of the roadway was covered in water and our site was virtually in a pond. There appeared to be very little drainage or runoff control with water accumulating everywhere. It made connections a little dicey to say the least. I had to set-up wading in 6 inches of water dragging my hose, sewer tube, and power cord through standing water and having to leave them there. Looking at the units around me, it appeared that others were in the same situation as I. We will not stay here again.

This was a good campsite, but logistics may be somewhat of an issue for some, as the office is located about a mile away from the RV park itself, in a feedstore that the owners run as well. You need to stop by the feedstore to check-in for your campsite prior to heading to the campground. We were staying here to attend the Iowa State Fair, about a 20 minute drive away. The site was slightly unlevel and we corrected it with blocks. We were here with our puppy and there was a large area just in back of our site where we could easy walk her and let her relieve herself (we ALWAYS pick up). There are several "shelters," as they call them, where there are showers, laundry facilities and recreation. The campground also had a little pond in the center that was a very attractive landscaping addition. We would stay here again.

This was a very green and pleasant facility, however it's quite a ways (16 miles) from the city of Thunder Bay. Nevertheless, it IS just down the road (2 km) from the Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park, a stunning attraction that is second only to Niagara in Canada, I believe. The campground also has a very nice dog walk area that doubles as a great hiking trail for 2.5 km. The owners appear to be making significant improvements in the property and everyone I spoke with thought the place was improving. Level sites with good hookups. We would stay here again if in the area.

This is a huge campground, however most of the sites are not really available and are overgrown with weeds and grass. I believe the campground is under new ownership and they are trying to make improvements, but you can tell that things are really seedy. Our site was very level. WiFi is available for $10 for 48 hours of connect time. The facility is just off the Trans Canada Highway (Route 69). This is very convenient, however you do get a significant amount of highway noise in the evening. There's a designated swimming area on the lake near the seasonal sites, but it didn't appear to be too inviting, so we didn't take advantage of it. We would stay here again.

This park doesn't have much to offer except a stunning view of Lake Superior. Nevertheless it was worth the overnight stay to be able to walk along the pristine beach and stroll along the wooded areas. The sites are very tight and you can't get in any vehicle combination greater than 36 feet. However, we were able to squeeze in our 24' motorhome and our 8' Smartcar toad quite easily into our pull-through site. There is only electrical hookups (15 and 30 amp) and no water or sewer hookup. There was a fresh water spigot nearby. Our little puppy wanted badly to romp in the lake surf, however no dogs are allowed on the beach. We would stay here again in the future.

Quite friendly staff: the very young lady who checked us in provided a lot of local information and was very helpful in reminding me about their Good Sam discount. While the property is sorely in need of a significant renovation, the sites were clean, and our site in particular was absolutely level. No TV reception in the area and Internet access through WiFi was $1.00 per ten minutes. Great if you just want to check e-mail or the latest baseball scores. We would stay here again.

This campground was fairly similar to most KOAs in North America. We didn't use most of the amenities available as we don't have children with us. Speaking of children, there were plenty of them around, with the resulting cacophony with lots of electric motor cycles and bikes racing all over (not necessarily an issue for the campground, but the parents should do a better job in controlling the kids). However, one amenity we did enjoy was the dog yard: a fenced-in area with lots of doggie-gymnastic equipment to be used. They also supplied plastic doggie bags and a very nice fresh bowl of water. We would use this RV park again if in the area.

We thought this was a great park for an overnight stay. We were in the area to visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame while on our way to Canada. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the site was spacious and relatively clean. The only real issue I had was that the site was angled and we had to use all ten of our leveling blocks on the front-left side to make it level. We would stay here again if in the area.
