Douglas KOA, Douglas, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

I concur with the other reviewers that the staff was extremely friendly. I was escorted to my site. It is gravel, but level. There's a little store with some RV supplies, food and souvenirs. Wi-Fi worked extremely well, and cable had a lot of stations. Miniature golf ($2 per person) and a pool were available. Bathrooms/showers were very clean. Close to freeway but no noise. I stayed just one night while passing through but would definitely stay again. We camped at Douglas KOA in a Motorhome.

Mobile City RV Park, Grand Junction, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Not what you'd call a "pretty park" but clean, close to I-70 and shopping. Men in the office were very nice and led me to my site. WiFi near the office was pretty good. Cable TV with several stations, but not the full amount. Gravel spaces that are pretty level. Hook-ups are spread out. I had trouble getting to the sewer, and a man from the office came to help. This is a nice enough place, and I would stay here again. We camped at Mobile City RV Park in a Motorhome.

Main Street Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

It was convenient, mostly level, big parking lot. There's no cable, and Wi-Fi only in the hotel. I got a few TV stations using my converter box. Security periodically rode through on a bicycle. It was a little noisy with I-15 traffic noise, but with the doors shut, it wasn't bad. Washers were $1.25; dryers $1.00. There is a free shuttle from the California Casino, across the street from Main Street Casino to Sam's Town. Another free shuttle from Sam's Town to Harrah's on the strip. This is the 2nd time I've stayed here. It's a good value. We camped at Main Street Casino in a Motorhome.

Maple Leaf RV Park, Morgan Hill, California

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

It is a very nice park. The WiFi is excellent. There are not too many TV stations, but okay. It features level, paved spaces. The store in the office has a lot to offer - even wine which was nice watching the sun go down. The rate was with Good Sam discount. We camped at Maple Leaf RV Park in a Motorhome.

Skyline Wilderness Park, Napa, California

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I have mixed feeling about this park. The WiFi was slow. I didn't get any TV stations with my converter box. AT&T only had one bar. The spaces are not very level with ruts throughout. It is a pretty setting with nice trails. It's close by for driving to wineries. We camped at Skyline Wilderness Park in a Motorhome.

Burns RV Park, Burns, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly check-in. WiFi and cable TV excellent. Spaces rather close together. Level enough. The area has been flooded, and half of the CG is closed. It was pretty muddy, but that was expected because of the weather. Right on Hwy 20. I heard some road noise, but it wasn't bad. We camped at Burns RV Park in a Motorhome.

Country RV Village, Heyburn, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, clean, small park. Very nice owners. Small gift shop selling Oregon souvenirs and wine. WiFi worked great. Small area in the office to use computer if desired. No cable TV. Close to highway, but I didn't really notice much noise. By the way, they no longer take Passport America. We camped at Country RV Village in a Motorhome.

Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground), Rawlins, Wyoming

Date of Stay: May, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

I agree with what the others have written about what a nice CG this is. Very nice check-in process with mints for the pillow. Cable and WiFi were excellent, as well as phone service. Water pressure very high - make sure you have a regulator. Close to the highway with a little noise but not much. Also, I heard trains often during the night. They aren't loud enough to wake a person up - I just happened to be awake. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Red Desert Rose Campground (formerly RV World Campground) in a Motorhome.

OK RV Park, Holbrook, Arizona

Overall Rating:

As others have said, this is a nice place, with very level sites, and a nice lady in the office. The WiFi worked extremely well. There were lots of channels on the TV. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Laundry is $1.50 to wash & dry. It is a good overnight stop. $25 price was the Good Sam rate. We camped at OK RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverfront RV Park, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: January, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

I was very disappointed after the last rating of 10. We checked in then went to dinner before hooking up (no toad). When we came back, I thought it was strange that the trailer next to us was using our water spigot. When I tried the one right next to it, it was stripped, my hose wouldn't go on. Another MH was using the cable TV connection at our site. When I tried to call the office, it was closed, so there was no resolution. You have to pay for showers which I think is terrible, and the showers/bathrooms close at 10:00 p.m. The lady in the office was nice. We needed to be in Yuma another night but chose to go someplace else. We camped at Riverfront RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rancho Jurupa Park, Riverside, California

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

I've stayed here before and rated it higher before. I still love this park, but two things led me to lower the rating. The price per night raised $10 since earlier this year. That's a big jump. My rate reflects Passport America which is available Mon-Thurs. The other problem was the tokens for the laundry. I went to the kiosk at 10:00 a.m. to purchase the tokens. I was told they were out but would get some. I called back 4 times and finally got tokens at 3:30. Other than that, it's still a great park. I will definitely return. We camped at Rancho Jurupa Park in a Motorhome.

Mayflower County Park, Blythe, California

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The river is pretty and the lady checking us in was nice. That's about all the good I can say. Roads are awful with big ruts. I was told to pull into any available site. It was difficult to tell where one spot was and the next ended. People were every which way - diagonal, straight in, backed in. The bathroom/shower was dirty. There was no soap or towels/dryers by the sink. The Wi-Fi worked well. It's free for the first day. There was no cable. Most of the time I got one station. I won't stay here again. We camped at Mayflower County Park in a Motorhome.

Los Banos West / I-5 KOA , Santa Nella, California

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

Nice enough for an overnight stop although there is another park closer to I-5. This one is about 4 miles from I-5. There's a small store and propane available. The spots are mostly dirt, and with all the rain there were a lot of puddles. Bathroom and shower were clean. I would stay here again, but would probably chose the one closer to I-5. Cable had the main channels, and WiFi worked well. We camped at Los Banos West / I-5 KOA in a Motorhome.

Redding RV Park, Redding, California

Date of Stay: December, 2010 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Nice enough for overnight. As mentioned previously, the spots are very narrow. There has been a lot of rain in the area and the sites are all mud. They aren't terribly level so there is a lot of puddling. The bathrooms and showers were clean. Check-in lady was nice. PA price is not available for the back in spots - pull throughs only. WiFi worked very well. Cable had 24 stations. I would stay here again for the price. We camped at Redding RV Park in a Motorhome.
