Colorado Landing, La Grange, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Night rate PA with other charges added. Be sure and verify rate when making reservation. Other than that problem, park is ok and wifi works good. Would not stay here again because not up front with all charges. We camped at Colorado Landing in a Travel Trailer.

Lazy Day Campground, Danville, Missouri

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

What a nice surprise to find such a gem in rural Missouri. Very easy access from I-70,however far enough away you don't hear traffic noise. Very quaint setting with good gravel interior roads. Very friendly welcome and was taken to our site. The site was very level, spacious and each had a fire pit. All utilities were an easy hookup and the Wi-Fi was outstanding. Television was over the air but very adequate. Too bad we could only stay one night. Hope to be in the area again so we could revisit. We camped at Lazy Day Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Timberline Valley RV Resort, Anderson, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2014 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This park is clean, neat and quiet. People working at this park are nice and friendly. Two things we did not like were, they messed up our reservation and the site we were in was not level. When I made our reservation I had ask for two sites that faced each other. I was told no problem because I was making the reservation a month in advance. When we checked in we were told sorry those were already taken and nothing they could do. Would not stay at this park again. We camped at Timberline Valley RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Florida Springs RV Resort and Campgrounds, Bonifay, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2014 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very easy to find and is a nice looking park. Staff are very friendly and the cable TV works good. That's where the good stopped. Interior roads very rough and the RV sites are very uneven. Could not get the RV level and almost didn't get slide in when leaving. As for the Mustang Grill, food OK if you don't order a steak. They don't know how to grill a steak any way but well done. The rate cited is the Passport America rate. We camped at Florida Springs RV Resort and Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.

Highbanks Marina & Campresort, Debary, Florida

Date of Stay: February, 2014 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We were here for 5 months and have a very mixed feeling about this park. Many good things such as friendly staff, night and weekend security, large trees, paved roads and very level sites. Also the cable TV was great and way more than basic. The people were friendly except did not welcome snowbirds to participate in activities. Most all park is full time residents,so everything is set up for them. Other RV'ers only stay a short time and not the whole season like we did. The Wi-Fi is good but must pay to use.The rate is the monthly rate then you must add eletric usage. To give you the overall attitude of the park they even charge you 50 cents for a parking sticker. This you're told after you have checked in and they want that in cash. It's not the money; it's the idea of it! The restrooms and showers were cleaned daily, however way overdue for a makeover. We camped at Highbanks Marina & Campresort in a Travel Trailer.

Tallahassee RV Park, Tallahassee, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

We found this park exceptionally nice. Lady working in the office was very friendly and helpful. Our site was very level and shaded. As to the driving in the park, all you must do is pay attention and you will not have any problems. The previous reviews on this park were way out of line. All I can say is, I am sure glad those people are not next to me. I would have given this park a 10 if the rate was a little lower. We will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Tallahassee RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Drifters Resort, Rockport, Texas

Overall Rating:

We stayed here from 10/2012 to 4/2013. What a great park. Owners and staff know how to make your stay a happy one! Many, many actives to choose from; you can be as busy as you want to be. Roads in the park were excellent, along with the Internet and cable TV. Sites are level, however some are very close. We made many new friends and plan to return next season. We camped at Drifters Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Mockingbird Hill RV Park, Burleson, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Somewhat of a challenge to get to the park because of the way Texas does there service roads. The young lady gave us excellent directions; otherwise we may not have found it. The young lady working when we got there could not have been nicer or more helpful. Internet was the best and got 30+ TV stations thru the air. Very easy to get into spot and it was level. Only thing, the roads need some TLC as they are rough. Would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Mockingbird Hill RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Sleepy Holler Campground, Cordova, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

We stopped here one night and were glad to do so as I was so tired. However, we would never stay longer do to the following: Was told had Wi-Fi but no signal at all and the restrooms were full of bugs. Our site was level even though is was grass and a little gravel. Water, electric and sewer worked fine, TV through the air only and was limited to 2 stations.Would only stay here again if could not drive any farther. We camped at Sleepy Holler Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Hardeeville RV, Hardeeville, South Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2012 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Again I say there is no such thing as a perfect park, however, all that is important was great at this park. Large level sites, wonderful Wi-Fi, many channels on cable and a very quiet park. There is some road noise but very easy to ignore. Owners are very friendly and check on the park day and night to make sure everything is OK. The nightly rate I posted is for 30 days plus electric and I would like to say the electric rate is the cheapest I have ever found. We would be happy to stay here again if in the area. We camped at Hardeeville RV in a Travel Trailer.

Stoney Crest Plantation Campground, Bluffton, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2012 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

We had planned on staying here however when we arrived we found it looked nothing like the pictures on their web site. Many old RV's that had not been taken care of, and the general appearance was that of a dump. The lady we talked to said they took cash, no credit cards; however nothing was mentioned on the web site, nor was I told that when I made the reservation. Also was under the impression that they had cable TV, but they did not. We did not stay here and am very glad we didn't, as we found a beautiful RV park in Hardeeville, SC. We camped at Stoney Crest Plantation Campground in a Travel Trailer.
