Spring River RV Park, Roswell, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a year old. They have a small park at another address. I am reviewing the bigger park on E. College. All pull-thrus. Long enough for our 36' motorhome and full size truck. The gravel is not quite packed down enough yet so the site was a bit unlevel. Good utilities and well placed. Good wifi and cable. Super nice manager! Very helpful. They are still improving the roads inside the park. This is a Passport America park. She no longer requires a minimum of 3 nights to use it. There are a lot of permanent campers. Most were well kept. Very quiet neighborhood. Park backs up to a nice city park. There is also a zoo for rescued animals within walking distance that is free. Our only complaint was dog waste along fence lines. There was a lot of it. There are signs posted to pick it up but apparently campers aren't following it. We would stay here again. We camped at Spring River RV Park in a Motorhome.

Monument Valley Camp Park, Monument Valley, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a brand new park. The restrooms are under construction, so if you need them or a laundry, this park may not be for you. If you need a nice place to stay that is clean, level, and with Monument Valley in front of you, this is the place to stay. I called for reservations and was told he gave a military discount. He's not ready for Good Sam or anything else. The office is not always manned, but there are instructions to self check-in. There is no cable or OTA TV. However there is a free wifi that worked very well. Go very slow as you enter this park. It is a little rutted. The interior roads are fine. This is a great place to stay if you want to visit Monument Valley. We camped at Monument Valley Camp Park in a Motorhome.

Distant Drums RV Resort, Camp Verde, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This a very nice park owned and operated by the Navajo Nation. Our site was a head-in, which means we had to back out to leave. It was a lot easier than it sounds! No problem at all. Our tow vehicle easily parked beside us. Utilities were good. Trash is picked up at your site. They give you $10 play money for the casino and there is a free shuttle. We would stay here again. We camped at Distant Drums RV Resort in a Motorhome.

San Pedro Resort Community (55+ park), Benson, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Great park! The site spaces are just long enough for our motorhome. However it was really wide! There is plenty of room to park a tow vehicle. The site was gravel and level. Utilities were good. The cable required a box that must be hooked up but we can never get them to work. We got NBC, 2 Spanish channels, and 2 local channels using our antenna. The workers are very friendly and helpful. This is an adult park. There are a lot of very well kept mobile homes for permanent residents. The residents are also very friendly. We loved it here. We camped at San Pedro Resort Community (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a Passport America park. Nice wide and long gravel spaces? It was level and good utilities. Interior roads easy to navigate. No cable but OTA was good. We stayed only one night. We would stay again! We camped at LoW-Hi RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Bud's Place RV Park, Carlsbad, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2017 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Nice long level graveled pull thru. Good utilities. Sites are buddy sites but plenty of room for slides. Common yard is grass and very spacious. All sites have a smoker and grill. However most grills have trash in them. Cable requires the box they loan you. We can't get that to work so they refunded us some money even though the price includes cable. About 30 minutes to the cave. We camped at Bud's Place RV Park in a Motorhome.

Bar J Hitchin Post RV, Sweetwater, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice long paved sites. Grounds well kept. There is some highway noise that did not bother us. Office very efficient. Cable and wifi worked well. Utilities are in great shape. If you are in a motorhome with a tow vehicle you should be aware that the utilities are in the rear of the site. You might need extra hoses if you don't unhook. Trailers and fifth wheels would be fine. Loves truck stop is across the street. We would stay again! We camped at Bar J Hitchin Post RV in a Motorhome.

Bell RV Village, Bartlesville, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Brand new park owned by rv dealership down the road. Nice long level pull-thru. The sites seem to have been built for fifth wheels or travel trailers. The patio and electric/water are near the rear of the site. If you are traveling in a motorhome and don't plan to unhook be sure you have a long cord and hose. Nice dog run, but small dogs can go under the wooden fence in the back. Wifi worked well. Cable TV was out during our stay. Loved the online reservation system with one big exception. I couldn't find a place to ask for discounts. When I arrived I noticed they are Good Sam and the manager mentioned they also give a 15% discount to military/veterans. She offered a refund for the discounts. She said she would tell the owner about the website not having a place to request discounts. Overall nice place to stay when passing through Bartlesville! We camped at Bell RV Village in a Motorhome.

Riverside RV Resort & Campground, Bartlesville, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Nice older park. Very well manicured landscape. Service perfect. They put us in a site that was not quite long enough, but told us not to worry about being in the space behind us. (These were parallel spaces.). They did this so we would not have to unhook!! That is service! We camped at Riverside RV Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Park, Robinsonville, Mississippi

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times to visit family. The park is beginning to be a little run down. There is no one on site to check you in. When I made my reservation I asked if I needed to go into the hotel like last time. She said to call the same number and someone would come escort us to our site. We did just that and after waiting 15 minutes on the phone, I was told to go pick out a site, call her back, and she would send security to unlock the electric box (that is new). Apparently they had people just stopping in, hooking up, spending the night, and leaving. Since their is no one watching, they began locking up the electric boxes. It seems like it would be a lot less trouble if they gave you a tag for your windshield. After the third day, we got some new neighbors who asked us when the office was delivering drinking water. We didn't know what they were talking about. She said when they checked in, they were told not to drink the water due to a boil water alert and the office would be delivering water to drink. That would have been nice to know. No one delivered water. When she went back to the office they handed her 2 bottles of water. The park is nice and level, with good utilities (other than the water issue which is not their fault). And then there is the issue over what they charge. We stayed 7 days for $236. But my card was charged about $350. When I asked about that, I was told it would be corrected when I check out, and it was. We camped at Hollywood Casino Hotel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

River Cities RV Park, Boyce, Louisiana

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a fairly new park along I49. I called for a reservation. She took my information and emailed me my site number and gate code. When we got there, we entered the gate code and went straight to our site. When we left we received another email thanking us for staying with them. They do not give discounts or take Discover. The sites were long and level. Great utilities. Very clean park. We camped at River Cities RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is good for an overnight stay. It has mostly permanent RVs. The grounds are all mowed and manicured. The manager lives on site and met us in the road to guide us to the site. Very long level pull-thrus. They take only cash or check. We camped at Frontier Days RV Park in a Motorhome.

Pueblo KOA, Pueblo, Colorado

Date of Stay: May, 2017 - $72.00
Overall Rating:

The only reason we would stay here again is due to location. The KOA is fine, but not worth the money. They charged $5 per person after the first 2. Considering the fact that we didn't use their restroom, shower, pool, etc., that is a bit too expensive at $72 a night, and that was with the KOA discount! We camped at Pueblo KOA in a Motorhome.
