We stay here once a year. We don't use the restrooms or laundry so we can't comment on those. There are several new parks that have been built, but none are on the beach like Dellanera. Concrete pullthrus, good utilities, free wifi. No cable but satellite dish or antennae work well. The rate is for a weekly winter rate of $225. Beaches were really clean during our stay.

Very clean and well maintained. Long concrete pullthrus. Good utilities. They offer cable tv that is a little different. They give you a cable box and remote to hook up. Not difficult at all, just different. There is some highway noise since it's on the highway. Easy on and off. We would stay here again.

Beautiful rv park! Long level sites. Good utilities. Decorated with flowers, pumpkins, hay! It just looks fun! You can borrow a fire pit and buy wood for$4. This park stays pretty full. Very hands-on owners who live onsite. They will guide you to your site and help you park. Trash cans located all over the park and close by.

We stayed here for 3 nights while having our leveling jacks serviced and visiting Herbert Hoover Presidential Museum. The office was not manned during our stay due to the fall season. When I called for reservations a recording instructed me to find a sire and leave money in the mailbox. There were envelopes with maps and rules in the mailbox. Very easy!! Super quiet park with plenty of room at our site. Nicely mowed with gravel roads and level sites. Good utilities.

Went 18 miles out if our way because of previous reviews. So glad we did! This park is immaculate. Nice level sites, perfectly placed utilities, view of small lake. You pay for what you use, cash or check in an envelope placed in the pay slot. If you want to pay by credit card you have to go to the lumberyard. Would come here again.

Nice owners. Small park, concrete pads. We are 36' towing a full size pickup for a total of 52'. Their sites are 56' and we fit only because the owner said not to worry about getting on the grass. He was right there with us when we parked. It was the only site left. They were very accommodating! Park is well maintained.

These are really long sites. However the first site we were in (22) was great for a fifth wheel or travel trailer. All the utilities were in the very back. We asked to be moved and the manager was very gracious about it. She told me to pick a site that would work and let her know where we moved. Good utilities. The sites had a small patio with a metal table and chairs.

Great utilities. Super long level sites. It is next to a river. Really cute dog park with several fire hydrants. The lady at the desk is really good to find you a discount.

This is our go to park in Amarillo. Long level concrete sites. Good utilities. The park is beginning to show some age but it has a new owner. There are some potholes in the interior roads that they are repairing. Love this park!

Raton KOA

Raton, New Mexico

Good utilities. Long and level sites. Nice owners who were very helpful. This is a small KOA.

Half of the park is dirt sites that are filled with permanent residents and very unkempt. The other half is concrete diets that are fairly well kept. Utilities were good. Septic near back of site. Lots of birds! Entrance is on a public dirt road that is a little bit rough. Their entrance also a little rough. Just go slow. Typical overpriced KOA.

In fairness, we did not stay! The sites were very narrow and dirt, with mud at the back where utilities were. The site was very rutted and muddy. There is no office. A woman came out to meet us and told us which site to go to. She said she would be right back with her paperwork. They only take cash or checks, which wasn't a problem. We decided this was not where we wanted to stay. There are low curbs you have to drive over to get out of your site. It nearly shook us to pieces and we were crawling over it! Unless you are desperate you might want to move on.

Very nice park. Owners on site and constantly working the grounds! Good utilities. Long level pull-thrus. Great laundry. Huge dog run. Owners very helpful!

Beautiful park with excellent staff! Rate reflects weekly rate in off-season. Our site was on upper level and overlooks Gardiner. Water pressure a little low. Electric went off nearly everyday. We have a surge protector and believe it was the power drops which shuts us down. Just make sure you have one. We had the owner check their site and it was OK when he checked it. There is a lot of construction going on in town which could be the problem.

Great for overnight due to access from highway. Noise was not a problem for us. Lots of grass for dogs. Beautiful views of mountains. Utilities good. Cable tv is working but is an extra $3 charge. Nice gravel roads. They will give you a 2 cent off per gallon coupon to the Conoco station next door when you check in.
