First and foremost let me state that this RV park is extremely clean and well maintained by the resident staff who were extremely cordial. The public gathering facilities which include the pool, spa, club house, rest rooms/showers and banquet/social hall are spotless and up to date. Each site is spacious and well though out. The added feature of the observatory is commendable. On the negative side, the management staff that currently is in place leave a lot to be desired. The overall demeanor and curt responses to reasonable questions put to them left a sour taste in my mouth. Maintenance problems with the pool left it unusable for an extended period. I do not know, but being in Arizona where the quantity of swimming pools has to be enormous, seems to me parts and service could be performed rather quickly. Lastly, the trains are the worse. This park is extremely close to east and west bound container traffic that seems to be non stop 24/7 and they are loud for sure. This park located in some other venue under different supervision would be A++++++. This will be our last visit to the Butterfield RV Resort.

This park was one of the first ones we stayed in with the travel trailer we had just purchased. The park was gravel and generally in good repair. The sites were easily accessed. Most every site had a pull through which makes it easy on the first time RV owner.

Talk about being in a concentration camp, Sunny's is it. This place is the absolute worst run place I have ever stayed. The camps loudspeaker system continually chastising people for the things they were perceived in doing wrong was totally unacceptable. Never never never again !
