Lakeside RV Park, Livingston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We checked in on Thursday, and was very impressed with this park. Our site is right across from the laundry and bath house which was very convenient. Our site is also directly beside a community pavilion. The park has nice concrete pads, very nice lake with walking/biking trail, garbage pickup daily. We were pleased with the amenities until Saturday when there was a party at the pavilion with a lot of traffic and very little privacy for us. Then Saturday night there was a dance at the pavilion for teenagers. The music was so loud that our RV was vibrating. I called the emergency number, and was told that absolutely nothing could be done and that quiet time did not start until 11:00pm. The manager/owner would not even be available to talk to me about my complaints until Monday (when we are leaving). If you want a quiet, family-conducive environment, this park is OK during the week, but definitely not on the weekend. We camped at Lakeside RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
