Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park), Tucson, Arizona

Date of Stay: November, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nice active management. Lots of pets and very little enforcement of pet rules. Lots are of different sizes with slight slopes. Many residents are repeat customers.

Lot spacing is nearby with sunny/open exposure. Site surface was gravel featuring a picnic table. We camped at Desert Trails RV Park (40+ park) in a Motorhome.

Outdoor Resort Indio, Indio, California

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

The park lots are owned by residents who have the option of renting the lots out through the management office, or directly to a renter. I was originally an owner who sold my lot due to what I perceived unscrupulous actions of the HOA Board and park management as applied to renters. If you rent directly from an owner, the park charges an additional $12 a day management fee.

Lot spacing is spacious with a sunny/open exposure. Site surface is concrete and features a picnic table. We camped at Outdoor Resort Indio in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

My caution to any one wanting to purchase a lot at this facility, or rent: be very wary and check into all hidden charges.

Wolf Lodge Campground, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Sites are short and narrow. Roads dusty. Freeway noise very noticeable. Low voltage power when the weather is hot. Lots of noisy kids running around. I will not stay here again. We camped at Wolf Lodge Campground in a Motorhome.

Peter D's RV Park, Sheridan, Wyoming

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Do not stay here unless you like being hassled by the owner. He totally lacks interpersonal communication skills and has no business being in the public service sector. The sites and roads are dusty with very confusing directions on how to navigate through the park. I will not stay here again. We camped at Peter D's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Havasu RV Resort, Lake Havasu City, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

I have stayed at this park for the winter months of the past two years and consider this to be the finest RV park in the Lake Havasu area. The lots are owner owned, however, there are several placed in a rental pool for those who do not wish to own. It is indeed pricey; however, the facility is maintained in an excellent manner and is well managed with a friendly staff. Pets are allowed, however, they must be kept on leash, picked up after and dogs are not allowed to be left alone or continually bark. The wi-fi at the clubhouse works very well and on-site activities are mainly attended by lot owners. My only complaint is the negative attitude of some lot owners to renters. We camped at Havasu RV Resort in a Motorhome.
