Wilmington KOA, Wilmington, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park, especially for families. Sites were relatively large for a private park. Pool was quite nice-we spent a lot of time there. Also nice play area, bounce pillow, and even a dog park. Staff was very friendly and quit efficient. We camped at Wilmington KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is lots to do in Wilmington, including the USS North Carolina and Wrightsville Beach. Carolina Beach and the Aquarium are not too far away. But this time, we just hung out at the campground and enjoyed the pool.

Jordan Lake SRA / Poplar Point Campground, Apex, North Carolina

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Nice State Park campground with sites with and without water/electric. Most sites are quite spacious. No sewer hookups, but does have a dump station. Great location if you have a boat. Also some nice trails. Very friendly staff. Be aware that gate is closed and locked at night, so if you are going out, you need to watch your return time. We camped at Jordan Lake SRA / Poplar Point Campground in a Motorhome.

Lake Reidsville, Reidsville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park and very reasonably priced. It poured rain, so we did not get to take advantage of the activities, but fishing, boating, disc golf, walking trails, bird watching, etc. and a nice playground for the kids are all available. We plan to return. We camped at Lake Reidsville in a Truck Camper.
