This was a very nice park. Given the prior reviews, I had high expectations for this park. Most of them were met. My biggest concern was the bathrooms. They were old in need of repair and not clean. In the ladies room there was fecal matter in the shower. It was not good. The sites are private and there are some very nice water front sites. The path/loop we stayed in was tight for larger trailers. One other concern was traffic layout. In our loop the exit put you back on the main road and we had to come back into the park entrance to go to the dump station. That was just awkward. I would have preferred to stay on the campground to the dump station. Prices seemed kind of high in the camp store based on my experience at State Parks and other camp grounds that had camp stores. I would come back again, but would only get a water front site, as this seems to be the best part of the campgrounds.

This was a very nice State Park. Close to the beach and right on the inlet. I had only two issues with the park itself. 1. Water pressure was very low at the site. Each site shared a water main so I am not sure if that may have caused the issue. 2. We were on site 28 which is in front of the bathrooms. During our stay people who were across from us on the water front walked through our site to get to the bathrooms. The Park really needs to put signs up advising not to walk through camp sites to get to the bathrooms. Or create a pathway and then those who get these sites will know that comes with the territory.

Excellent camp ground. Beautiful nature, river and lots of things to do. Nice general store. The pool was closed and roads were under construction as the prior post states. The camp sites in the loop we stayed were wonderful. Our site was a pull through site which was huge and shaded. It was close to the bathrooms and play ground for the kids. I do agree that they need more then one dump station. We waited 30 min prior to our departure.

I must admit I was concerned at first about going to this resort based on the prior recent reviews. Bryn Mawr was recommended by a good friend. My expectations were exceeded. We went to this location to be on the beach and close to the St. Augustine attractions. This resort met and exceeded all expectations. You must get a beach front site, as I agree the interior sites are a little tight. Our beach front site we could see the ocean from our camper! We were on site 234. The staff was great and the camp grounds felt like a little beach front community. The resort is very family friendly and pet friendly. We were surprised to see that dogs were allowed on the beach! This means that our dog will come with us on the next trip! The staff was top notch! Location is the best. Close enough to St. Augustine to do the tours and fun stuff but far enough away where there as not issues with traffic! We will be back to this park again! It was great!

Great park! The grounds were a little dusty, but that was due to the dry conditions. Staff was excellent. Campground layout was great. Great play ground area and lake access! We will be back!
