Bay Breeze RV On The Bay, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: March, 2016 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is an adult park, no swimming pool, game room, etc. It is meticulously clean and well managed. Quiet and attracts well mannered people. In the winter months it is full of "snow birds" that normally stay the entire season. This is definitely a place to relax... not party. We camped at Bay Breeze RV On The Bay in a Travel Trailer.

Denton Ferry RV Park & Resort, Cotter, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Right on the White River, well run campground and excellent staff. We've used the facility for 10+ years and it is always a great place to stay. Quiet, close to grocery and other stores, restaurants within 2 miles, and trout fishing at your door. If you can get one... you would love the riverside sites.

Camp is well laid out and wonderfully maintained. Both pull thru and back in spots, can handle the largest rigs. We camped at Denton Ferry RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The area is full of things to do, with excellent restaurants in the area... PJs, Club 178, Nima's Pizza, White Sands are all good spots to eat. Entertainment is available close by, there is live theater in Bull Shoals, a wonderful state park in Mountain View, Branson is an easy commute, etc.

We don't often give glowing reviews of campgrounds, but this one is different. We've stayed here over the last several years for up to a month at a time. At no time have we ever been less than wonderfully pleased. The camp is spotless, the management considerate and kind, and the customers uniformly excellent. The surrounding area is fun, reasonably priced, and well worth your time. Try it: you'll like it!!! We camped at Denton Ferry RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

That all parks should be this well run: and quiet and peaceful to boot! You know you're in for a treat when you are greeted by the owner and assisted into your parking spot by him. (And he knows what he's doing!!) Yes, it's small. Yes, its secluded. Yes, it's a bit out of the way. And that's part of why it's so good. There is a group of people that like that kind of thing, and if you're one of them: you'll fit in fine. These kind of folks have well behaved children and pets, they don't make noise at night, they help each other out, and they love to sit by the dock and have a quiet social hour in the evenings. Folks get together and go into town for dinner. The park manager and her hubby are out every morning picking up cigarette butts, stray pieces of paper, etc., etc. The restrooms and laundry are spotless. And, if you have friends that don't have a rig: they have a couple permanent ones on the site that can be rented. You'd never guess we enjoyed the place: would you?? We camped at Bay Breeze RV On The Bay in a Travel Trailer.

Fantasic park for fisher folk and folks just wanting a quiet relaxing spot to enjoy. The riverside sites are superb with views of nesting eagles and the White River. The fishing is great right at the park. You only have to walk less than 100 yards to catch trout to your heart's content. Close to restaurants and groceries, yet you feel like you're in the middle of nowhere. We frequently stay there a month at a time. We camped at Denton Ferry RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.
