The sites had plenty of room for a smaller camper like ours, but I wouldn't want to pull a big one in. The campground had very few trees on sites (our site had none). I guess if the beach is your destination, this is a great place to put your camper. But if you want to set up camp and hang out I wouldn't recommend this campground.

Excellent campground tucked away in southern Virginia Beach. The sites are large and pulling in a breeze. The staff has always been friendly (we've camped there a few times) and very helpful. The beach is good size for the campground and the water is shallow allowing kids to play freely. Pets are always welcome, and the list of activities go on forever. They have a big pool, volleyball court, canoes and plenty of space to drop a line in the water to test your luck. In the summer they have movies and other activities in their new and spacious pavilion. We highly recommend this out of the way place with plenty of charm.

Nice beachfront campground for military members. The sites are nice sized and shady. The base has everything you can want within a very short ride, but a walk to most activities would be rather long. The beach is beautiful and the staff is friendly. Pets must be on a leash at all times but they are welcome.
