Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park), Goodlettsville, Tennessee

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Management very friendly and professional as well as knowledgeable about the local tours and shopping. Pet area had a small fenced section with benches and supplies and a long shaded walk by a creek. Loved it. We arrived in the middle of a rainstorm/tornado warning so the pull through site was a blessing. Will plan on stopping here again. We camped at Nashville North KOA ( formerly Nashville Country RV Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park, Vicksburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful, well maintained location near the Mississippi River. Easy access from I-20. Casino shuttle service. Civil War history and beautifully maintained older homes in the area. Sites are all pull-throughs and large. Great space for walking pets. Only two washers and dryers in the laundry. Internet worked in the office area but not at our site which was near the back of the park. We camped at Ameristar Vicksburg RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Spent four months here in 2009. Extremely well organized park. Many activities, Indoor and outdoor pool. Great people having fun, day and night. Pet area is limited but well maintained. The price is higher than many but the amenities and people make it a bargain. Free Wi-fi is available anytime but you must take your lap-top into the Friendship Hall. We camped at Texas Trails RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Mission Bell RV Resort (55+ park), Mission, Texas

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Do not book for longer than a few days here until you are sure that you are getting what is advertised. Amenities at Mission Bell and their sister park ( Trade Winds )across the street did not match what was advertised in their web page in the 2008- 2009 season. Pool, phone and wi-fi were not available for much of the season. Management showed little concern for resident's requests to get what they had paid for. Pet walking area had many sand burrs. We camped at Mission Bell RV Resort (55+ park) in a Fifth Wheel.
