Tatogga Lake Resort, Iskut, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Very few parks to choose from on hwy37. Delighted to find this one. I am rating it higher than it probably deserves because the owner is delightful and the restaurant is a must see. He has a collection of mounted animals that is outstanding! Owner is also the cook and the food was very good. Water and 30amps at site. We are in a 40 foot motor hone with tow. There are a number of pull throughs so you do not have to unhook. Interoir roads a little tight for our motorhome and tow,but managable. Nice setting and quiet. Grounds need attention. Would stay here again! We camped at Tatogga Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Cariboo Joy Campground, Wells, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Stayed there a couple of days while visiting Barkerville. Very friendly owner. Only a few big rig sites. Ours was convenient to get in and out of and level. Have stayed in public campground closer to Barkerville in the past but due to bad information from the public campground operator, we were told no spaces were available. Actually, the park was nearly empty. We camped at Cariboo Joy Campground in a Motorhome.

Big Country Campground & RV Park, Lac La Hache, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Park nearly empty due to fires in the area. Very quiet. Attractive wooded site. Don't believe your GPS. Look for the road sign. My GPS located the park about 5 miles north of its actual location. We camped at Big Country Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Friendly RV Park, Weed, California

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Overall pretty nice park. Dirt sites and a dusty due to little rain. Number of pull throughs and wide, large, back in sites. We stayed in "E" site between large trees, nice shade, good satellite reception. Freeway noise and truck stop noise is noticeable. Constant drone in backgound but not overly objectionable. We would stay here again. Close truck stop makes refueling very convenient. Nice view of Shasta from our side window. We camped at Friendly RV Park in a Motorhome.

Big Pines RV Park, Crescent, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

I really like this park also. Been here 3 different years on our way up and down Highway 97. We plan our trip with a stop at this park. Great owners. They take special care of the park. Many large pull-throughs. Most fairly level. Camped in 40 ft coach with toad. Backs on pine forest with great walking trails. Very pet friendly. Try it, you'll like it!! We camped at Big Pines RV Park in a Motorhome.

Fort Stevens State Park, Hammond, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice State park. Superior to California State Parks in general. Weather great during our stay. Spacious pull through site for our 40 ft coach. No cable, or WiFi. 30amps at our site. Picnic table and fire ring at site. Very helpful at check in. Stayed in a walk-in site, did not make reservation. Camp nearly full but very quite in the full hook up area we were in. Bat wing antenna reception good but only one network channel. Satellite not likely due to trees. Lots of day time activities available. Hiking, fishing, beach combing, wind surfing, bird watching. Great shopping close by. Well equipped RV supply store in town. Stayed three nights. Would stay here again. We camped at Fort Stevens State Park in a Motorhome.

Alder Acres RV Park, Agness, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Nice camp ground. Many full timers but all very neat. Well cared for grounds. Camp sites a little close to each other but nicely laid out and plenty of room for a 40 ft coach and dedicated spot for a tow car to park. Concrete parking, asphalt drives, rock patio areas with table. Nice pet area. Spent two days in town and this was the nicest park we saw. Would stay here again. We camped at Alder Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Redwoods RV Resort, Crescent City, California

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice camp ground. Grass and gravel sites. WiFi intermittent. Lots of good sites for big rigs. Smaller rigs, under 30 ft can camp in the red woods area. Even if you can't camp in the woods, you will enjoy a walk through a beautiful new grow (probably 100 years old) forest. We camped in a 40 foot rig, about 75 feet from the edge of the forest in an open area with scattered trees. Short distance north of town was not a problem for us. In fact, it was an advantage. RV parks in town were parking lots, combat camping, and in the fog nearly all the time. Would choose this park again. We camped at The Redwoods RV Resort in a Motorhome.
