Hilltop RV Park, Robertsdale, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $23.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great easy in and out stayover. Have stayed several times this year. I am amused with the passport America people who think they are getting such a big discount. As you see they are only getting about 2.00 off the regular rate. Pleasant people nice and clean. No cable tv, No pool just a good place to spend the night. We camped at Hilltop RV Park in a Motorhome.

Shady Cove RV Park, Hattiesburg, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2010 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

This has been a very nice park in the past. Obviously the current owners are only interested in pipe liners and long term-er. Way over priced at 33.00 for what you receive. I will say the park was quiet, large pull thru site which was uphill. No Wi-Fi, no cable, no pool, no pick nick table. We camped at Shady Cove RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very friendly and helpful managers. Across the street from white sand beach with access. Good cable and Wi-Fi. Nothing fancy but clean and quiet. Like most ocean campgrounds in Florida be sure to bring your flea and mosquito spray. Our second stay here and will return. We camped at El Governor Motel & RV Park in a Motorhome.

A beautiful, clean park with large pull through sites with all the amenities. No trees but lots of grass and a good area to walk the dog. This park would be a ten if it had some shade. We camped at Bay Colony RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Ancient Oaks RV Park & Campground, Rockport, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Rate is based on weekly rate of 180.00. A wide variety of sites in this park from lots of trees to no trees, large and small. They are good about showing you the sites and letting you pick the site you like if it is avail. They have a nice doggie park where you can sit and let your dogs run and play ( all fenced ). They have good cable tv but pay wireless internet. We camped at Ancient Oaks RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground, Asheville, North Carolina

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

Park was clean, but the rest rooms for the area we were in were closed. Cable TV though advertised is non existent. Winding, climbing narrow road to reach this campground and then you are sitting just above the freeway so very noisy. Rate is in my opinion very high for what is offered. We camped at Asheville's Bear Creek RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tampa South RV Resort, Ruskin, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This was a very clean and well maintained park. They had both potlucks and community breakfasts during our four night stay. Boat docks and a nice picnic area with fishing was available on the river. Sites are mostly sand so you will have to deal with a little sand in your rig. Our only complaint was no cable TV We camped at Tampa South RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Beaver Lake Campground, Quincy, Florida

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

You have to check in at the counter in the gas station at the entrance to the campground. After ignoring me for several minutes, while she counted her money and waited on her gas customers the clerk and I played lets make a deal. Everything was extra including using a credit card. We did not stay as we felt very uncomfortable here. Not a very professionally operated place. We camped at Beaver Lake Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
