Pecan Park Riverside RV , San Marcos, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2015 - $47.00
Overall Rating:

Staff friendly, helpful. Very over priced. Don't understand Good Sam rating of 9/9/9. Gravel unlevel sites, old appearance, small showers, and laundry for number of spaces. We camped at Pecan Park Riverside RV in a Travel Trailer.

Barnyard RV, El Dorado, Arkansas

Date of Stay: August, 2010 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a new park at junction of US 82 and Ark Hwy 15, next to T Model Pit Stop. All utilities are new, so good hookups, 50amp only, will need adapter if using 30 amp. All gravel back in sites. No other facilities at present, construction on showers and laundry is in progress. This is bare bones, but good place to stop over night if traveling through or visiting El Dorado. We camped at Barnyard RV in a Motorhome.

Cooperstown KOA, Richfield Springs, New York

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

Owners were friendly and helpful, location remote, but peaceful in a country setting. Shared electric and water, so if you are assigned a site(which we were) with services on the right, need long electric cord, sewer at back of site. Asked for a different site with services on left, was moved next to a long term RV with 2 families occuping. They had a car parked in our assigned site that I had to request they move. Their fire ring was located within 5 feet of our drivers door. They started a fire at 5pm and kept it burning all night. Hope we will be able to air out as we drive to our destination. I had to asked them to move their car before I could depart my site. If you are towing, I don't consider this KOA big rig friendly. In 4 years as fulltimers, the worst experience at a KOA. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Motorhome.

Sky Mountain Resort RV Park, Chama, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2009 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Highly recommend this RV Resort. Long, wide pull-thrus. Not necessary to unhook toad if just passing through. Big rig friendly, easy to maneuver. Pot holes previous reviewer mentioned cause no problem to get around. Owners were most friendly and helpful, even offered to help set up. Very convenient to train depot. We camped at Sky Mountain Resort RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camelot RV Campground, Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice, well maintained park. Pull-thru sites level and plenty long, best I have experience in 3 years as a full timer. Only problem I experienced was the TV cable reception at our site was fuzzy. This park experienced an ice storm a couple months back and is still recovering, so there were possibly some connection problems. Would stay here anytime we have the opportunity. We camped at Camelot RV Campground in a Motorhome.
