Fleming Park / Lake Jacomo Campground, Blue Springs, Missouri

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

If you use I-435 and I-470 to get to park be advised that they have heavy traffic during morning and evening rush hours. We arrived and were assigned a pull thru that "would be easy to level on". After 1/2 hour and using all my boards and leveling jacks I could not level coach and had to move to another site. Be advised this is a very nice park that the county owns/runs but why on earth would most sites not be close to level! Also a pet peeve of mine is when the sewer connection is 10" high off the ground. Why? We camped at Fleming Park / Lake Jacomo Campground in a Motorhome.

Coeur D'Alene RV Resort, Post Falls, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

certainly not a Resort as name claims. About 25% of units here are long term stays -large propane tanks, skirting around unit, fences up, fridge and freezers outside, ect...The one side of the park is the right of way for I-90 so the noise is loud. And yes there are train tracks near. We camped at Coeur D'Alene RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park, Lake Delton, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a Rally. Overall a nice park for adults, nothing specific for kids, but this is in the heart of the Dells area so there is a lot for them to do close by. We camped at Country Roads Motorhome & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hy-Land Court RV Park, Ellison Bay, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small campground that has some seasonal mobil homes at the rear. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have stayed in. Lots of shade trees, quiet, landscaped sites. In the heart of Door County and close to many areas. Would stay here anytime we are back in the area. We camped at Hy-Land Court RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Landing Point RV Park, Cape Girardeau, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here while family was visiting and we needed more space. Was a mobile home park that half has been converted to a RV Park. Lots of room between sites, good paved pads, quiet area on the edge of town. Convent access to community. We camped at The Landing Point RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Island Retreat RV Park, Gulf Shores, Alabama

Date of Stay: February, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

As "snow birds" we have stayed here 6 months over the last 4 winters. This is a very average park. Due to limited camping in this area, it is full in the winter. When full the WiFi is very limited, they have few IP addresses available so WiFi is very slow or not working. This has been the same for 4 years, they always make excuses. Many of the concrete pads are broken, not just cracked, and some parts are 6" or more lower than other parts so leveling can be an issue. Also they often get reservations messed up. Saw this happen twice last month and both times they told the campers that this has never happened before! Their web site has not worked in several years. This could be a very nice park but needs some improvements and better management. Our rate reflects the monthly rate. We camped at Island Retreat RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Missouri State Fair Campground, Sedalia, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

We camped here for a Rally event so I am not sure what a nightly rate would be. The camping area is a large grass field with hook ups at the back of each site. There was some rain a couple of days before we arrived and we got stuck when we pulled onto our site and had to be towed. Others got stuck when they were leaving 3 days later. Beware if it rains when you are here. Is very handy if you are attending the state fair or another event on the fairgrounds. We camped at Missouri State Fair Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Binder Park, Jefferson City, Missouri

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

We found this campground to be very handy while visiting the State Capitol area. Campground is on a hill side but each site is very level and will accommodate large RVs. We were able to open our 3 slides but did not open the awning due to tree limbs. Each site has a covered picnic table, grill and fire pit. There are 17 sites plus a host. Rates are $14 for full hook up and $13 for electric only. Reservations can be made. We camped at Binder Park in a Fifth Wheel.
