Canton Marketplace RV Park, Canton, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $35.00

This one very large parking lot with hookups. The campers are placed on every available spot for the trade days held each month. The staff were helpful and they handled the crowd very well. They also have a shuttle bus to take guests to the trade days area. We stayed two nights and it was enjoyable. We camped at Canton Marketplace RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Meridian State Park, Meridian, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $18.00

Very nice clean park. The staff were great and very helpful. The only problem we encountered was a large mud hole in the middle of our site. The lake is nice with new fishing piers. The boat ramp is closed due to low water conditions. We would stay here again. We camped at Meridian State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tyler State Park, Tyler, Texas

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We camped in Area 3 away from the water on site 42. The site was very hard to get my rig into and then had to back out. The sites are very unlevel and need to be resurfaced. The park was very crowded on Friday and Saturday. The fishing piers were taken over by hordes of unsupervised children running and screaming at each other. I don't think we will stay there again. We camped at Tyler State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
