This park was very nice to stay in while we worked to help the Red Cross using our motorhome as a base during the tornado restoration work that we did. Each pedestal at each site has a 30 amp as well as a 50 amp hookup, with good electricity and has good water pressure also available. In addition, there is a dump station in the park as well. Virtually every site is fully shaded, with parking on asphalt large enough to place all wheels of a 40' motor-home off the grass. As instructed we called the Police Department for permission to stay and the Lady there suggested that we might prefer to come to the Police station to avoid any potential hassle with regards to paying. We understood that the Police are busy, however we regularly saw them patrolling the road alongside the park, but we knew that we should pay the $10 nightly fee, and so we took her suggestion. Our stay there was uneventful, peaceful, and we would stay there again.

This is a very nice park with many amenities and under different circumstances, we would definitely give a higher rating. However, we are in the landing/takeoff pattern for Luke Air Force Base, and there are literally hundreds of F-16 Jets based here. The following information comes from the Luke AFB Website: "The millionth F-16 Fighting Falcon flying training hour at Luke Air Force Base was reached March 13. F-16s first touched down at Luke AFB on Dec. 6, 1982. To date, Luke has graduated 18,164 F-16 fighter pilots. Approximately 2,000 F-16 hours are flown a month by Luke pilots and students." We believe that virtually every flight out of Luke goes directly overhead of this RV park, and the noise is deafening and incessant. We would definitely NOT stay here again, as these jets fly night and day, and with no discernible pattern. Our nerves just simply would not and could not stand it.

The address of this location is 516 W Kansas Avenue, Greensburg, KS. It is a very basic RV lot that is used primarily by construction workers and permanent residents. It is adjacent to an apartment building that looks new, and apparently is owned by the same people. No one is usually present, so we filled out a payment envelope found in the laundry and dropped payment into a slot. The restrooms were clean as were the showers, but the campground was not. We spent at least fifteen minutes cleaning up poop adjacent to our hookups from the tenant next door and their dog. There were a couple of other dogs tied outside with no one apparently present at their site, and one of them barked at anyone present. The utilities were OK, including the 50 amp at some sites, although the sewer hookup was a piece of pipe in the ground covered with a rock, which is the way that it is done here. The Wi-Fi works very well, but the password is written in pencil on a piece of paper in the laundry and then crossed out and replaced by one that does not work. To visit Greensburg this may be the only option in a camper, as we did not see any other during our visit. Not fancy, but did work for us.

Can't think of any reason to give this park a lower rating. Virtually everything is first rate, and we enjoyed our stay. Sites are great for pull through and for big-rigs with plenty of room between. All utilities working as expected and hoped for, including Wi-Fi which usually is our pet-peeve. Check-in was very friendly, and help with routing to our next stop was excellent. We would definitely stay here again.

This campground is small with 35 sites, and not very new, but with paved streets and sites. We found it by doing a Google search of RV parks in Cave Junction as it did not appear in our regular sources. The others in town seemed to have problems with electricity or no Wi-Fi from the reviews, so we kept looking online and found this one. Not fancy at all, but good 50 amp electricity, and good Wi-Fi and our satellite dish on the roof found good TV so we had everything that we needed. We have a big-rig and found that several of the pull-through sites would have worked for us. Most residents here appear to be full timers living in mostly older rigs and with sewer hook-ups, while the pull-through sites have water and electric only. When we arrived, there was no-one in the office, so we filled out a form and dropped our check in an envelope. We never did see any one in the office since we left early the next AM. If we were to come back into this town, we would stay here again, however this park probably warrants only the overall rating given here.

Although this park is small it is a very nice place to spend some time. Wi-Fi now works great after a recent upgrade; 50 Amp and 30 Amp connections at every site; hookups and all utilities worked great including cable which we tried out, but did not use. Our HD satellite antenna on the roof of our motorhome worked great in site #18, although some sites are behind trees and in those locations would not work. Suggest asking for a site with a satellite reception view if that is your preference. Our site was not shaded which is also our preference, but many of the sites are. The park is located alongside the very nice Rogue River, and the only negative that we could find was that Interstate Highway 5 is across the river and is a noise distraction. I noted that we quickly became accustomed to it, however, and it did not affect our ability to sleep at night. The staff and management here are very nice and friendly and cooperative, and we would definitely stay here again.

Arrived PM, and after hours without a reservation, however nice notice on door indicated one site available, which we inspected and moved into. Office does not open until 9:30 so couldn't pay until then although we had plans for earlier in the AM. Overall not a bad park, although sites are very close together and it appears as though this park is mostly full. Wi-Fi mostly not working; could be due to large number of residents. Park staff was very helpful with touring information, especially of the Columbia River Gorge and very friendly. We would probably stay here again, although reservation is recommended. Not a great park but not too bad, all in all. Rate was $40 but we received a discount.

This is a very nice, very well run very well maintained campground with owners that care about the place and their customers. The WiFi worked great for us while here, and the site that we had was satellite friendly. They even asked if we wanted a satellite view, which we did. The landscaping is very nice as is th access to the lake, and their boat rentals. We would stay here again.

This smaller park is run by very nice folks who have worked hard to make it better, and those efforts have paid off. Twelve new sites, all professionally designed and built are pull-throughs and with full hook-ups for Big-Rigs and are very nice sites. Roads are somewhat tight for bigger rigs, but passable, and maneuvering was fairly easy. It's very quiet here, access to the National Parks is easy, and if we are ever in this part of the country again, we will stay here.

An older park with smaller sites, though some big rig sites are available. Very friendly staff was very accommodating and helpful. Wi-Fi and all hookups worked well, laundry appeared clean, and although we didn't use the restrooms we presume they are adequate. We did have some difficulty getting into our site in a 40' motorhome, but staff helped a lot, and we made it rather easily after they showed us how to do it. If in the area we would stay here again. Suggest reservations as the park was full the entire time that we were there.

A very well maintained park with very good/friendly staff at the desk. Excellent sites with full hook-ups. 50 amp and 20 amp at our site which was level and well groomed and with space between sites. In addition, we noted that they spaced us at every other site whenever they could to give us additional space between. Laundry facilities and restrooms are well above par. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a nice park, except for one thing. We needed internet access while we were there and theirs absolutely did NOT work during our entire three night stay. That was bad enough, but the attitude of the desk attendants was that they only provided Wi-Fi as a courtesy and they were not going to report it to management. One lady behind the counter even said that it was a city wide problem; however we found Wi-Fi working all over town. The real problem was their attitude. It was as though we were a bother and shouldn't ask. Since Wi-Fi is easily fixed when you know what you are doing, we found this attitude intolerable. We won't bother to ask again. Other than the Wi-Fi issue, it is a nice campground though a bit pricey. It is very close to town and well maintained generally with good hook-ups. Fixing the Wi-Fi and an attitude or two would give this campground an eight rating.

In our ten years of traveling, this is the absolute worst park we have ever stayed in. It is a dump! There is junk piled everywhere, and the roads are full of holes making it very difficult to move the motorhome about. We actually did not feel safe here, and some of the residents seemed to us to be from a drug culture. We didn't actually see any drugs, but believed that they were present. Would not walk this park after dark ! The lady at the counter was very nice, and very helpful, but we absolutely would not stay here again. Wi-Fi only in the office.

Date of Stay:

We are local residents who occasionally use this campground for a get away. Its nice here and the park hosts are always friendly. As is true with most campgrounds, some sites are much nicer than others with water views and nice quiet areas. We have our favorite spots, but would stay here even if we couldn't get the site that we wanted. This is a park run by a municipality and is typical, but its wide open and friendly and we like it here.

Date of Stay:

Our nightly rate based on monthly stay. This upscale park has recently been sold and is now an Encore Park. Many concerns have arisen as a result of the sale of this property, and changes will definitely occur. The swimming pool is the nicest we have ever used in any RV facility and is kept at a steady consistent 82*. The dining room is one of the nicest in the valley, as is the ballroom. This has been our eighth year of spending the winter at this resort, and we have always been proud to say that we stay there ... We hope none of that changes.
