Bar Harbor RV Park & Marina, Abingdon, Maryland

Date of Stay: April, 2009 - $21.00
Overall Rating:

Could be very nice if some improvements were made. Not many campgrounds to choose from in the Baltimore area so they can do what they want. Most sites were gravel and mud and not very level. We had a 37' 5th wheel and could barely get the truck off the roadway even parked perpendicular to the camper. Wifi is pretty good. Did not use the cable as we were able to sight the satelitte dish though the trees. We had a weekly rate of $145 plus electric @ .19 per kwh but after 2 weeks they still had not read the meter. We would stay again as we have family in the area and really no other choice. We camped at Bar Harbor RV Park & Marina in a Fifth Wheel.

Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park, West Memphis, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Interesting park with some sites right on the Mississippi. Fun watching the barges. Only a few minutes to downtown or to Graceland. Management was very friendly. Only facilities we used were the free washers and dryer. They were a great perk and nearly new. They gave Escapees discount. Would stay there again. We camped at Tom Sawyer's Mississippi River Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Hope Village Inn & RV Park, Hope, Arkansas

Date of Stay: March, 2009 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Place was run down and dirty. Trash and dilapidated Rvs. First site the sewer was blocked, second site had no power to the pedestal. Road noise from the interstate was so loud we had to keep the windows closed even though the outside temps were nice. Was not worth it to save a few dollars. Wife was very uneasy there. We camped at Hope Village Inn & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
